I've noticed better handling on the guns compared to BF3, firing a gun in BF3 usually resulted in your gun going all over the place, BF4 feels more like Bad Company where guns were more stable.
Also it's an FPS, there isn't much "innovation" to be seen.

You know, I actually felt like the guns were more stable, too. I thought it was just me. I could easily go prone and return fire effectively, more easily than I could ever manage in BF3.

Yeah and almost all auto weapons have a burst fire mode, which I love and use all the time.
