Battlefield 4 is the exact same thing as Battlefield 3.
After sitting down and actually spending time with the game, I have notice hardly any changes to it, and you people call Call of Duty stagnant.

1. BF3 is not bad so it wouldn't be a bad thing. 2. If you actually put time into it you would realize it is not the same. It is an improvement off of something that was already good.

I don't know it looks great but I'm passing on it nevertheless. I just don't have the time anymore to xp grind for gear.

For current-gen it's practically the same, but Siege of Shanghai is also an awful map when scaled down, so that helps. If I wasn't getting next-gen I'd avoid it.

Every BF game so far has pretty much has been the same thing as the last. BF Bad Company 2 is pretty much the first game with updated destruction and a regenerating health system. BF3 is BFBC 2 with jets, better customization and nerfed destruction. BF4 looks the same as BF3 and the only major difference is that Commander mode. Every one of those games that got released after BFBC1 might as well be DLC for the game. There's hardly any major changes to them. Each one of those games is just a copy and past.

3 AntwortenI've noticed better handling on the guns compared to BF3, firing a gun in BF3 usually resulted in your gun going all over the place, BF4 feels more like Bad Company where guns were more stable. Also it's an FPS, there isn't much "innovation" to be seen.

1 AntwortenI will say that I'm disappointed at the lack of destructible environments. I was hoping that DICE was going to have BF4 go the way of Bad Company 2 when the environments are concerned, but I guess "levelution" makes up for it...I guess.

It's still beta, but I agree. It's very similar to BF3 in most aspects.

My last hopes for the FPS genre lies with Destiny, which i'm not even completely sold on yet.
