I [b]did[/b] post this on the Destiny forums as well but the users there aren't nice enough to reply. I aim to make this within the next few days using Slick2D, a Java 2D game library. It will be a relatively simple game where you play as X character from a top down perspective and enemies randomly appear on the screen (you have to kill them). Anything more complicated than this is likely beyond my limited skill in Java so weird and wacky ideas about MMOs are not really helpful. What I would like your ideas for: Who is the player(what class, race, etc) Who is he shooting? (only one enemy so hopefully an enemy that fights as a horde) Should I attempt to make it really cartoony? (The game won't be great in graphics but should I go for bright and colourful or sombre?) What should I call it? Hopefully together we can make something that's quite good! I will release the game for free and I would like to do the programming myself as I'm doing this as a learning experience.
