Microsoft is a company and as a business they need to make a profit. Their focus is on their business and not consumer rights.
Their pretty much competing with the television industry now as their console is built to replace consumers cable boxes.

Bearbeitet von The Great DanTej: 6/12/2013 11:21:39 AMIf their consoles weren't raking in the dough, they wouldn't be making them, used games has nothing to do with it (also, the idea that a company as big as M$ has to worry about their profits margins because of used game sales is beyond absurd) The general business strategy for the X1 seems to be "make it be average at everything and excellent at nothing" which makes it redundant (Eg: why buy an X1 for TV when you probably already have TV?)
