I'll decide once more information is released. At the moment the poll results will be skewed one way or another due to the current generation of games. The 360 was the best social gaming console for this generation mainly due to one reason: it was released first. Since it was released first a lot of people whose friends decided to buy a 360 bought one as well so that they could play together. That is what built up the community. Now, since that community has been formed, people aren't even considering which system will be the better system once they are released and instead will simply choose the nextbox as they assume it will be better than the PS4.
Wait until all of the details are released for both systems and then decide.
I'll most likely end up buying both next-gen consoles so I'll get destiny on whichever most of my friends own/ most of the community is playing on.

I feel the same way. I love the 360 controller though, and it doesn't sound like Sony is going to change from the Fireaxis controller. Also XBL has always been light years ahead of PSN. However, there's been a lot of criticism lately that Xbox has lost it focus on games by trying to do too many things and I kind of agree. I've also been disappointed with the lack of game exclusivity as well. All that said though, I would prefer Xbox as long as they don't screw things up.

Well I had a PS2 instead of an Xbox and at the time my loyalty lied with Sony. However, when the new systems came out I ended up buying an xbox 360 for several reasons. 1. Most of my friends didn't want to wait for Sony to release the PS3 and got an xbox instead. 2. Halo 3 was badass. 3. Xbox was cheaper. I had my 360 for almost a year before it got the rrod and while the games were fun the fact that the system screwed up was strike one for me (plus most of the games I were playing weren't exclusive titles). Since my friends were all still on xbox I bought another one less than a week later (yeah i was rolling in cash at that point). That system is still running to this day and I bought it near the end of 2008. Strike 2 for the 360 was when it suddenly started to scratch all of my favorite games (you know that big, ring shaped scratch that was like instant death to the disc). Finally although I really didn't like it I constantly paid to renew my subscription, all while knowing that PSN was free. I did it because my friends were still on xbl and microsoft didn't seem too money hungry at the time. Strike 3 was when they started adding a bunch of useless crap/ ads/ apps to the dashboard. That and the fact that you had to have a gold live account to use services that you already payed for such as netflix. When you consider the fact that all my friends had switched to ps3 it was an easy choice to switch as well. The 360 (not the first xbox) had a beefier controller than the ps3. That added size and weight did indeed make it quite comfortable, but in no way does that mean I found the ps3 controller to be uncomfortable. I could easily play for hours on each, and I have done that very thing on multiple occasions. Apart from the crappy six-axis (which I avoid using at all costs) I like the ps3 controller about the same amount as I do the 360 controller. Truthfully I'm looking towards the ps4 simply because its currently the only next-gen system that I know a few details about. When the nextbox in revealed my choice may very well change.
