It's an annoyance, to be certain, however even I have to admit it's been nowhere near as bad as it used to be (although we'll see if I've changed my tune when I'm stuck on the same power level at the end of Act 3 that I was on at the end of Act 1). The problem is that the line between 'grind' and 'chore' has become very blurred for Bungie. A 'grind' is something that you do over and over in order to progress toward an end goal. A 'chore' is something that you do over and over in order to progress until the chore begins again. Trying to reach a set of ever moving goalposts, is a chore, by any definition.
