I don’t play Trials or Competitive, yet I keep getting matched with highly competitive players who love to talk rudely because we’re on their team. Quick Play (QP) is supposed to be chill, not an all-out sweat fest every match. It’s frustrating because they didn’t want skill-based matchmaking since their games were too sweaty, but now they’re in QP talking smack. I’m never going to put that much time and dedication into QP. You all can carry if you want; I just want to vibe and chill. Go ahead and teabag; I’m going to keep doing my thing. I’m not going to sweat for QP.
If you’re frustrated with the current matchmaking system in your game, where you’re being paired with highly competitive players who are taking casual play (quick play, or “QP”) too seriously. You want to enjoy the game without the added stress and negativity from more intense players.
Here are a few suggestions that might help improve your experience:
1. Mute Toxic Players: Use the mute function to avoid hearing negative comments from other players.
2. Find Like-Minded Players: Look for a community or group of players who share your mindset and want to play casually.
3. Provide Feedback: If the game has a feedback system, let the developers know about your experience with the current matchmaking.
4. Take Breaks: If the game becomes too stressful, take a break and come back when you feel more relaxed.
5. Try Different Modes: Explore other game modes that might be more relaxed or suited to your playstyle.
It’s important to play games in a way that makes you happy and stress-free.

4 AntwortenQuick Play is for those who want to grab any random weapon in their vault and have some fun, not for taking your Trials loadout and sweating your balls off.
-
3 AntwortenAgree, truth is many of these people are carried by their over powered load out… they just couldn’t perform with off meta… just ignore the toxic elites
-
3 AntwortenWe love those people.. The moment I hear someone on my team talking smack I just intentionally do anything I can to throw the match

If you don't want to get wet when you go outside in a storm , use an umbrella If you dont want to be offended by someone else's opinion of you online, turn off or hide text chat and select no one can send you messages Then the blueberries become NPCs in a single player campaign

The issue is that there’s like 2,000 people playing crucible. It used to be a 40-60 split PvP to pve but I think the crucible population has dropped to single digits. Ofc the only people left are going to be sweaty. The game population isn’t enough to support fun PvP and it’s dropped so miserably low because bungie didn’t want to support their only revenue source.

IDK I'm no pvp guru by any means but in my experience usually the ones complaining the most about the team in a match are the ones that end up with a .45 at the bottom of the list.

I just play to have fun and I don't take it seriously anymore. I also turned off messages cause of all the random hate mail I would get from people who take the game way too seriously. I mean you lost to someone using arbor warden and strand. I'm just playing Pokémon over here and your getting upset you got caught 20 times lol

I dont care what anyone says in a QP game. Also whatever loadout they want to run, is good by me. I will play to the best of my ability, even sweat if you want to call it that. As I feel that you should always try to play your best and win, otherwise what is the point of playing... Im not a great player, but typically one of the top 2 on my team. I play off-meta, dual primary, which is mostly why I dont care what my teammates run, because I dont follow the meta and wont tell them to use one thing or another. Mostly, just run what you are comfortable with and improve strategy as you play. I do feel that good games should be a little stressful, otherwise its not a good game thats just a slaughter on either side of the split. QP is not necessarily a "casual" playlist. Realistically when you have a PvP challenge, competitiveness will creep in at every level. High skill and low skill players all want to win, or more importantly not lose. If meta weapons and builds are used, then more players will put those meta weapons on in the game... This isnt a matchmaking issue, its just how the game is. I dont play as much PvP as I used to, since I really only care for a couple game modes now. Mostly due to the sandbox changes and the general state of PvP. At this time, I really only play Mayhem. I would like to play Hardware, but without special or power ammo (it doesnt make sense to me that they would remove abilities and give MORE special and power ammo like Havoc Hardware). I was a player that used to play mostly PvE to get weapons to use in PvP. PvP is where the focus of my game was (still off-meta, niche builds), and PvE was kind of boring for me. Now I dont even know anymore. PvP just isnt fun anymore with the state of the game. Only when everyone has an abundance of abilities, or no abilities does it start to play well.

I love how you think that "sweaty" players are the only ones who trash talk... Hate to break it to you, but turds can be any skill level

Y'all asked for this

Bearbeitet von Duke: 8/6/2024 3:08:53 PMTurn text chat off, mute, and do you. Although it clearly hits a nerve for a lot of people, which I get. Hopping into text chat to talk crazy in QP is hilarious to me (when done by others to be clear), but I get it lands different for some people. Anyone feeling any type of way about bagging needs to grow up though. Edit: I said I get it like five times so I removed some lol.

People suck.

You must have some really bad luck; I never see anyone talk trash in QP.

2 AntwortenAnyone who takes quickplay as seriously as trials needs help tbh..I understand comp and trials with people being competitive but holy hell, quickplay. People need a hobby
-
Yeah it sucks when so many people don't know how sbmm actually works. At least there's not really any more double digit k/d's?
-
2 AntwortenBeing mean to anyone is not helpful whether they are on your team or the other. I play a lot of comp and I usually feel like most people are very civil and respecful. Hopefully, we can set an example to help foster a better and healthier mindset for playing together!

1 AntwortenThere's no excuse for toxicity so my question to you is since I really don't know, is there no way to turn off team chat while going into the Crucible? And second and please don't get me wrong here. I've played a good chunk of pvp and have improved. So much so that I have dreadful sbmm games especially in stacks. I don't mind playing my skill level but there's a couple things that ruin this for me. 1. The queue times are absolutely horrible in sbmm because of how small the population is compared to a game like cod. Bungie has a horrible design and don't know how to make sbmm flow well enough in their game. 2. Sbmm rewards low level players the same amount of rewards when Timmy has to face Jimmy as when I have to face pk titan sweatlords that crouch spam their c*ocks off for a 4+ KD. So to simplify point 2, my view is that getting better at this game punishes the player in a mode that is supposed to be "chill". But in the end crucible is a mess and the arguments will always be. "You wanna stomp bad players" vs "my matches are too sweaty and it takes 15 minutes to find a game where half the players leave in 3 minutes".

1 AntwortenScrubs will be scrubs. They think they’re competitive, but as someone who actually used to travel for tourneys in actual competitive games, that isn’t how competitive players act. Those are just wannabes who lack the mindset to actually be competitive. A true competitive player doesn’t body those without a clue, you sandbag and let everyone learn and try out new tech, you turn up against those who actually have similar skill. Don’t mind them, do you, it’s just quick play. The other day I was showing a bud of mine who admittedly hates the game but loves Halo that there are Halo weapons in the game. I’m letting him walk around and shoot the forerunner and basically not know anything that’s going on. Immediately get a message after the game for not moving, get dunked on, etc. This isn’t ranked mind you. I just told em pull up or keep it pushing. Of course he doesn’t accept and we don’t get matched in an actual match (just one where there was 30 seconds mercy at the end, which lead to a fun message). I follow it up showing my bud what it looks like to go off, pop 2 we rans in a row but of course the matchmaking gods wouldn’t match us against the trash talker again. People like that are in everything, but this game does bring out a high percentage of weird, I agree. Rage winning is something I’ll never understand especially. Some real unhappy people out there.

12 AntwortenYou can’t get caught lacking, even in quickplay. Doesn’t excuse mean ness though

1 AntwortenI think the last time I played PVP was during the Iron Banner, 2nd week. I swear playing IB that 2nd week was enough to put me off PVP for life.
-
1 AntwortenSBMM will turn both social and ranked matches into sweaty games. It's the nature of the beast. Funny enough, the trials and comp players hate it when people go on in their playlists and play it like it's quickplay. Myself? I despise the pvp in Destiny. I have never liked it. If I don't need to be in it, i wont.
