I’ve already written a long complaint email to Sony, detailing many of the problems with this DLC.
I won’t be Sherpa-ing anyone through any raids again. One of the biggest Sherpas here is refusing to Sherpa raids anymore.
You’ve killed the casual and newbie raid scene.

Bruh if you can’t Sherpa at a minus 5 you shouldn’t be doing it to begin with, it’s endgame content grow up. Bungie shouldn’t need to be held responsible for casual player’s skill issue, endgame activities and rewards are supposed to require some effort and normal raids have historically been a joke

Without the casuals Bruh, there would be no Destiny 2. That would not be the same result if all the people like yourself quit. There are many, many more casuals than not.

Hate to break this to you but raids and difficulty are not a unique concept to destiny, every single other MMO esque game and community accepts that in order to get the best gear in a game you will have to improve or face a challenge to do endgame content, it is only this community that cries this hard as soon as getting gear becomes anything more than a participation trophy. Not to mention the fact that what you are all crying about is effectively nothing, if you cannot handle a -5 with surges that’s pathetic, literally going to neomuna for PATROL is harder at a -15 without surges and ya’ll are here complaining because what, a raid boss might not be an easy 1 or 2 phase unless you stack your surges? If this is too much for casuals and enough to make majority of the player base quit then yeah maybe the game should be shuttered, god forbid the casuals stick to the other 90% of the game or try to improve at all, actually sad

-5 isn't a challenge, that's just a slog and more reason why power level is pointless. We can stay at 1,100 with no power increase from the game being free and it won't make any difference

I didn’t say that I can’t. And it’s not my skill issue that is up for debate. I’ll be clearer, it’s going to be no fun trying to teach the raids to people who are new to them in an Heroic level environment. It’ll destroy their confidence and make less people want to try a raid. Normal raids may be a joke to you but they aren’t to everyone. Normal raids are for NORMAL people. The average player if you will. Why don’t you try playing raids on Master, if the normal raids are a joke to you. Wait a minute, is that 0 raid seals and 0 master raid clears I see. GTFO here and go challenge yourself.

Good. Newbies shouldn’t be even attempting these raids. These are meant to be hard/pinnacle activities. I am tired of running Witness CP, and seeing bots join pretending they KNow what they doing. While bringing in double primary. These kids should have to learn to play the game, before even attempting these.

At this point you are either a toxic jerk and belittle them, or try and help explain it. I used to choose the latter. I will no longer Sherpa raids, due to the moronic changes to NORMAL raids.

Come on man!!! And people say I’m toxic on the forums. 😂 Look I get it. A KWTD raid should be KWTD. However some people watch a video of the raid and think they qualify. Some will, most won’t. It’s at that point you need to make a decision as to whether with a few minutes help they will be able to do good DPS or not. Or kick ‘em and wait another 5 minutes for someone else who may be equally as bad or worse. But not wanting to just explain “put on this special weapon/ weapon type for good damage” is like shooting yourself in the foot. If they argue then kick ‘em. IDK. IDGAF any more. 🤷♂️.
