Salvation's Edge Contest Mode
Surges will not be active in the Salvation's Edge raid during Contest Mode this weekend. We appreciate everyone's feedback on raid and dungeon difficulty and the impact that the addition of surges has had. No changes planned right now, but the team is aware.

2 AntwortenWhy is there nothing about the missing mote from the Khvostov quest? I'm still stuck at 16 motes, and I have gone through EVERY Boss on all 3 locations. And the meatball SEVERAL times in 2 days alone. This is demoralizing and time consuming. Why no updates? Because what was supposedly "fixed" Tuesday clearly isn't working.

3 AntwortenHonestly, it feels like a miss for me. "The hardest raid ever" sounds fantastic until you aren't down to do a 5+ hour run with people I know and trust once a week. I enjoy raids, but I enjoy raids within my normal schedule. This is a great raid... for the kind of people who have a meaningful portion of a day every week to devote to raiding. This feels fantastic... for a Master mode level of challenge. The timings are too tight, the thresholds to progress are too high.

I won’t be Sherpa-ing anyone through any raids again. One of the biggest Sherpas here is refusing to Sherpa raids anymore. You’ve killed the casual and newbie raid scene. Congratulations, I hope Sony comes in with a new broom and sweeps clean.

4 AntwortenYou guys need to stop -blam!- complaining. "Muh! Contest mode is too hard!" No -blam!- Sherlock, it's meant to be hard. Really hard, the hardest thing in the game. But noooo, it has to be doable for every brain dead -blam!--tard in this game. If you don't like Contest mode, -blam!- WAIT. There is a reason Bungie put a special mission after the raid, to accommodate people who don't/can't raid. There, I've said my piece.

I wonder what the design philosophy was behind this decision? I almost felt pressured into participating in this activity even though I knew that my team and I, or even a group of randoms off of lfg had no chance to complete this within the first 48 hours. You said it yourself, that this 48 hour raid challenge would be harder than the one for Last Wish. So after all the anticipation from the first time of seeing the Witness to now, why would I have my first experience within such a historic raid be a loss? Maybe that’s just me though. Anyways I digress, after seeing the news article you have released recently all of my pressure to do the contest raid vanished. It seems you may have gotten the emblems mixed up when constructing that article, if that is not the case then I am truly speechless. The contest raid emblem looks like a reward from a lost sector compared to the normal clear. Thank you bungie for relieving me of such a silly dilemma, I can’t wait to get that Edification emblem.

4 AntwortenDay one needs to go back to a strict 24 hour period, going from 10 teams to 673 is ridiculous when every mechanic has been figured out for them by day 2, completely belittles the difficulty by already knowing what to do

3 AntwortenFor those who don't know bosses got a MASSIVE health bump and there's a light penalty that makes you 35% weaker but in return they added surges that gives a 25% buff. This is why people are upset.

14 AntwortenLol. Almost 5 hours in and the vast majority of teams can't even get out of the first encounter. Only one, Saltgruppo's is on the 4th. Maybe two others on other encounters. You think this raid might be a bit overturned for even contest mode? It's going to be a little demoralizing when players looking for a challenge realize that almost nobody but the elite.0.0001% of players can finish a raid in contest mode anymore. You've finally arrived at The Final Shape for the difficulty increases there, Bungie.

You want my feedback? I’ve never seen such a terrible launch in my life. Daily maintenance kicking everyone out, constant disconnects, and a time limit to get ready, are you guys stupid? Everyone who was trying to get ready hasn’t been able to because of your terrible servers.

As a light in the dark for everybody -blam!- like they normally do….I’m 16 hours in, played with LFG teams, took a few breaks, and just beat the first encounter. This is the hardest raid I’ve ever done, and it’s also hands down the best. This raid was very well done, I didn’t exactly agree with some of the campaign choices, but the raid is phenomenal, from the aesthetic, to the difficulty, rewards, puzzles, etc. It was a definite breath of fresh air and I’m glad this was the one to end the light and dark saga

1 AntwortenI've been hearing a good amount of ppl have been giving up, it's up there with warpriest perhaps even worse. Almost 12sih hours and ppl are only on 3rd or 4th encounter
