I get that they’re the “bad guy” and all that jazz, but their motive actually kinda makes sense.
Everything we’ve seen from our time in the Destiny universe has been filled with conflict and strife and death (from both sides). Unifying everything into a singular peaceful existence actually sounds quite beautiful when you really think about the intention.
[u]Obviously the roads to hell are paved with good intentions and they’re trying to massacre all of us in order to get the job done[/u]… but still, it does make you think…

Also I underlined that last sentence because some people have trouble reading 😑 I’m not an idiot, I know they’re trying to kill us all. But their goal is a form of peace, same as us. Their version includes them controlling all of our existence and denying all free will. Which is obviously not a good thing and is why they’re the “bad guy” in the first place.
