Am I truly locked out of my main Steam (previous Activision) of 7+ years because i set my XBox account with no active characters as the "active" account? My nephew recently got an XBox, so i figured i would create an MS/XBox account so in the future if i wanted to login on his XBox to show him Destiny 2 i could. I admit i did not see any specific text saying if i had purchased silver on Steam i would be locked out of my account because i can't see a reason why i would be locked out for paying money on that account. Is there some exploit i'm missing? My main account for 7+ years is really locked out of The Final Shape, the major endpoint of the ENTIRE game because i had put money into that account? I don't see why i cannot just set that account active and deactivate all other accounts for 90 days. Is that not reasonable?
I just.. i'm at a loss here.
Sure i missed some fine text somewhere about silver that i can now see in hindsight, but i'm not seeing the reason for this stipulation. Someone correct me if my view is wrong but the way i see it is i activated the wrong account as my "main" account and now i cannot set my actual main account of 7+ years in the games final stage because i put actual money into that account? I'm just not seeing the logic in this...

Bungies stance is its to counter fraud. iirc the setup process is still the same, so during setup you explicitly had to access that condition to continue. https://i.imgur.com/R8ggG0Y.png
