Pvp needs more attention
The unbalanced matchmaking, the cronus / xim cheaters, the ring 1 cheaters... when is this going to be addressed by Bungie ?
Comp is either really balanced and fair, or really unbalanced and unfair.
Control is in the same boat.
All the cheaters break terms of service , yet they are still allowed to play ? I don't get it.
For control matchmaking , go back to whatever was implemented during the 30th anniversary update. That matchmaking felt awesome.
In comp I think you should match exactly your rank, no higher or lower

That's all pvp gets is attention... So many revamps n it still is in a crap place... And it's free to play, ngl I'm sick of them spending resources on pvp to only have it still suck -blam!-....

It's already in Bungie's best interest to ban cheaters. Cheaters who get banned buy the game again. Banning cheaters leads to good publicity and public goodwill. Bungie is probably trying pretty hard to ban cheaters. Unfortunately, cheating is constantly evolving, and combating cheats is naturally a reactive process.
