Unpopular opinion, but I've always personally been with the mindset that Trials should have set loadouts of white or green rarity weapons consisting of:
-Auto Rifle
-Pulse Rifle
-Hand Cannon/Scout
With either a shotgun secondary with two shots or a fusion/sniper Rifle with one shot, and a grenade launcher with two shots or rocket with one shot for heavy during heavy round ammo pickup.
This way there's much more focus on gunplay rather than hugging the meta. You know, similar to how OG Halo Reach did their loadouts. Just my two cents. I personally would say a change like this would be a positive change.

I really don't agree. The Sandbox should be balanced to allow for as much variety as possible.. It's what makes Destiny so fun. The option to buildcraft whatever you want and succeed. I've always used weird stuff, and I've never struggled with it. "Meta" is just what is most popular, and what is most popular is not necessarily what is most effective. For example, Peacekeeper Titan has the highest win rate in Trials. However, Peacekeepers are not the most popular Exotic, and Titans are not the most used Class. There are tons of other examples. If something is "OP," the solution is to nerf it. Not force loadouts in someone. What is "OP" to you may not be "OP" to me.
