There's no set rulebook. Some dungeons are hard, some are easier. Some raids are hard, some are easier. You're complaining about soloing a dungeon that can be easily 2 phased with a 3 man.

You're complaining about soloing a dungeon that can be easily 2 phased with a 3 man.[/quote] Maybe it’s just me, but Duality flawless solo was quite easy (if you didn’t get killed by a bell 😂), Spire was harder but still doable solo flawless but those bosses had ridiculous health, this one…. That first boss is pretty doable, but that wizard… This is getting out of hand! She fires as if she is on crack, the adds throw nades and shoot as if they had the same crack, and then getting that health down… well…. As someone who knows how to solo dungeons and flawless, that final boss is simply not okay! Make the adds less aggresive, and FFS let that boss (also those other wizards btw in the dungeon) please TONE DOWN a little! I never have been more frustrated on a boss than this one. Getting to a DPS phase is already annoying enough, but getting shot at (and almost hit a 100% by all the mobs while moving so i wonder what cheats they use 😜) wherever you go and the amount of aggro by the mobs makes this encounter such a pain in the -blam!-. Example: spire boss fight is dps phase you and him, you can stun him and he stops shooting and staggers. Duality you know where the ads are including the snipers, take them out (or not) and done. You get a bit of calmness during a DPS phase on those bulletsponges. This boss DPS phase she just keeps moving (even after a 1 shot arby for shield that should stop teleports) but she just keeps on going like a Duracell bunny… and in the meantime mobs spawn, so having to deal with the RIDICULOUS amount of health and getting shot by the boss because she hardly staggers, acolytes and thrall come in to spoil those damage phases even more, making it even more demotivating when you see the boss healthbar after a dps phase. I wonder why i even try to do it anymore because if this is the way Bungie makes “harder” content by adding stupid amounts of health to a boss while you can’t get some “normal” DPS phase in because everything apparently hits like a train and you with the biggest best guns and mods and -blam!- can’t fire a dent in a pack of butter…. No then the fun is far gone for me… A fireteam lvl scaler would be much better. This health with 3 man is fine, but solo should be scaled down.. It’s just as annoying as the Vexcalibur mission on master which was once and never again too. Where we should be space magic monsters with awesome guns, these activities make me feel like a midget with a nerf gun I wish I could have all the movement speed with M+K on console, because if i see vids of how fast and easy the pc players turn around and can react to everything much fast, I simply am annoyed that apparently you have to move faster and faster but on console there are limits.

Not because the boss has more health that it’s harder. The Harpy in Spire is so easy, yet so long to kill solo. Am I allowed to like solo dungeons?

Bearbeitet von Obi-Juan: 6/2/2023 12:25:05 PMDungeons shouldn't be designed with solo in mind. They should be designed to be engaging for 3 people. In my opinion of course. We already have exotic missions "multiplicity" to cater to solo play. Just ask Bungie for multiplicity and take all the challenge out of getting a solo flawless dungeon completion on an activity designed for 3 people.
-
But they are designed for solo play.
-
Absolutely
-
Solo is just a possibility where people are rewarded with an emblem if they do it. They are clearly designed for 3 people
-
The title requires a solo completion, and the emblem you mentioned is there for a reason. I suggest you go watch Gladd video on YouTube about it to get informed.
-
Bearbeitet von Obi-Juan: 6/2/2023 2:56:54 PMWith that logic Last Wish is designed to be flawless'd because it's part of the seal. Solo is just an option for extra challenge and accomplishment. Dungeons are designed to be 3 manned.
-
Every raid is meant to be flawlessed. Just not by everyone.
-
3 man, all max buffs, debuffs, meta ad whatnot. i did ever dungeon solo. compared to ALL dungeons, the boss health is ridiculous, even SPIRE bosses, which health was buffed so much was done by me around 1 hour and 30 minutes. this took me 4hours. 15 min entrance, 1 hour on second, maybe 1 and half, and third encounter was over 2 hours long. not to mention spire had big boss health but simple and quick mechanics. this is the opposite, dragged out mechanics and big boss health. verdict is, it's way worse than spire.
-
Meanwhile other people are saying it's the best Dungeon ever. Opinions
-
Best dungeon with a fireteam worst for solo Even gladd and esoterickk disagree with the amount of HP
-
Bearbeitet von Obi-Juan: 6/2/2023 12:22:03 PMExactly. God forbid we get an engaging 3 man eh. What are we designing dungeons purely to be solo'd now lol?
-
They have always been designed to be solo'd. There's a reason Bungie added a triumph to these and added it for a rank 11 challenge
-
You say they were designed to be solo'd, funny how this is the first dungeon that actually feels engaging and a challenge to three-man. If you design a dungeon for solo, you hinder the 3 man experience.

Bearbeitet von Merx: 6/2/2023 12:34:18 PMThat's why people are asking for level scaling. Other dungeons in the past have been a challenge at the start * spire of the watcher* until you learn what to do. Other dungeons have been a challenge for solo and even stacked groups. With this current dungeon it's basically just a bullet sponge for the solo player but it's so drawn out it's annoying, this is what the people are having. How about you go and try and you'll understand how bad it feels
-
Let's just add multiplicity to dungeons. Take away most of the satisfaction of soloing a dungeon that is designed for 3 people
-
Bearbeitet von Merx: 6/2/2023 12:38:32 PMSee you still don't understand. Once you actually experience it you'll understand. Atm you currently sound like you have a good complex. Or a massive ego thinking you're just as good of the top players *which is also complaining about these dungeons* I'm done with this conversation
-
Not really i just want 3 mans to be engaging and i also understand that multiplicity would recieve backlash because solo flawless veterans would complain that soloing a dungeon isnt challenging anymore
-
Bearbeitet von Merx: 6/2/2023 12:55:59 PMIt's still challenging just the bosses health needs to drop a bit since your doing it solo. The adds and everything else should stay the same it still promotes the difficulty. You also state the solo flawless veterans would be annoyed. 2 of them already want it to be fixed
-
It's absolutely fine... nothing needs to change except maybe remove 1 dunk from 1st encounter.
-
Nobody is saying it’s the best dungeon to solo, zero, nada.
-
I am. Took me around 70 attempts before I finally finished it. That's a challenge, and I like a game challenge. I've solo flawlessed every dungeon so far in this game and this one is by far the most engaging.
-
Already 70! Good for you, but if Bungie is catering to people who do nothing but play all the time, they will go bankrupt.
-
Bearbeitet von Itcus: 6/2/2023 11:54:56 PMPretty sure that most of the player base. Also, I said attempts, that's not completions.
