Nez Cleared. No Rewards Earned.
[b]Our fireteam cleared Nezarac twice but were wiped and reset both times.[/b]
Five of us had already cleared Nezarec after being wiped at final stand. Despite being wiped, we were all revived and received the proper rewards.
Later, we were helping a clanmate get their first day 1 clear. We successfully cleared Nez twice and were wiped. Each time, the Light Fades countdown halts at 3 like we were about to be revived. Instead, it would go directly to 0 and bring us to our Post Game Carnage Report. Then we get thrown back into the encounter like we failed.
Staying up till 4:30 AM, after countless failures, just to receive two false-wins is disheartening to say the [b]absolute very least.[/b] I'm sorry this happened to you all, but at least you're not alone in it. I can only hope a mod stumbles upon this so we can get it sorted out because this shouldn't have happened to anyone.
I'm noticing this is a common occurrence and I can only hope it's looked into.

Players must successfully complete all encounters of the Root of Nightmares Raid during the contest mode window and claim the associated Horticulturist Triumph in order to earn the "A Good Night's Sleep" emblem reward. If the Triumph was not earned and claimed, players do not qualify for the emblem. While players may appear to defeat Nezarec, part of the challenge was to complete the encounter itself, too, which includes the wipe mechanic. Teams who died to the wipe mechanic before they were able to fully defeat Nezarec would result in an unsuccessful clear. Additionally, factors such as poor connection, joining raids in progress, or not successfully receiving rewards for all encounters may have contributed to completion ineligibility.

Thank you so much for this! This is exactly what happened to our team! We beat it, in my mind. My clan mate even got the bounty done that says we completed the last encounter of any raid or dungeon. I’m glad to know you all cleared it the first time by first wiping and then being revived. That is what is SUPPOSED to happen and has happened to me multiple times in the past in old raids. Thanks. I hope we all get the emblem we deserve!
