I see you've internet cowboy'd the assumption that you're the only dude on planet earth who knows how packet loss and latency issues can affect connection? That you're the singular master genius who exclusively knows how to contact their ISP and have them spelunk through the entirety of their own set up to try and locate these issues. Protip for ya, Clint Eastwood: I've done that half a dozen times or more over my 3500 + hours playing this title, even spent hours on the phone with 2 very cool blokes from my own provider who did everything they could to help. The conclusion? They were not the problem, the game was. Full stop. Thousands of others have also done the same hoop jumping after receiving one of the Bungie "error codes", and only rarely has it worked... for any of us... ever. He!!, if you could read this forum back a few years, SO many people have gone through the same thing. But your take is these complaints are just whining? #smh. Dedicated servers would solve this issue in a heartbeat. Sure that's hard work and a bit of an investment to implement, but go figure, usually hard work and investing is what multi billion dollar companies do for their customers... you know... as a general rule. Apparently Bird's ISP is run by the Gods Of Everything, cuz he seems to singularly explain away all the thousands of player connection problems by way of blaming everyone else's ISP but his. I guess the entire internet service provider structure, world wide, is to blame, us "whiners" should just shut up, and Bungie should get high fives all day long for running their triple A title on an atrociously outdated infrastructure. Dude is either a joke, he likes to argue for the sake of it, or he's a Bungie employee being forced to -blam!-.
