Bungie could either in LightFall or sooner have the ability to have any champion mod on any weapon. As an example Auto Rifles could have Unstoppable Overload and Anti Barrier. We can limit players to one champion mod type per weapon type so that players don't stack anti barrier and overload on the same auto rifle. If implemented players could have a lot more loadout freedom and we could still have the seasonal champ mods but they'd just cost only one where as non seasonal champ mods could vary from 3-7 in cost but it would allow players to use non seasonal weapons for a higher mod price.
