Ehy Guardian. I don't know about the damage resistance or capacity to reflect certain attacks between the two Supers, but what actually bothers me -personally, so this is just a personal opinion- is the duration of the Arc Staff reflection in PvP.
It lasts a lot and meanwhile you can't hit the Hunter no matter what =/ or at least I haven't found a way to do so. Any tips are well accepted.

I've been told trace rfiles work, but never seen in practice. I can speak from experience that the laser from Devils ruin can almost kill a blocking arcstaff. Maybe because its a laser like trace rifles though?

Trace rifles. They are bugged somehow where it can’t be deflected.

It's not a bug, the block only works with projectiles. Trace rifles shoot a laser, not a projectile

AOE damage also works, but I’m intrigued about Ruinous effigy’s ball slam.

If only Agee’s Scepter caused slowing to eventually freezing enemies the longer the laser hits the target. Or does it do that already?

It does after a certain amount of precision damage I believe. Regardless Devils Ruin can almost 1 burst it
