I just got discredited in another thread because I said abilities are stronger in D2, and that's heresy to the sacred D1.

Grenades were insane in D1, though.

Stickies could one tap and tripmines could kill 1 or 2 resilience. Pretty much everything in D1 got gutted pretty hard. D2's got way more going on to loop grenades between devour and the new exotics like osmiomancy and renewals.

My favorite moment in Trials was a triple kill with a tripmine for the win in a 1v3 lol

I always though that tripmines were obvious enough to one tap, but that nerf to gunslingers (in D1) hasn't really made it easy for them to come back.

Certain grenades sure, others shine better now especially with mods that boost effects. I will say that ability recharge rates seemed faster in D1, though that might be the nostalgia talking.

You’re wrong as per usual. Back in D1 you could wipe entire 3 man teams in trials with a single skip grenade. Back in D1 you could stick enemies with Trip Mines and get OHKs plus kill any opponents close to the detonation. Did you even play D1 or just running your mouth about something you have no clue about?

You're only referring to pvp and not to the whole game in general. Abilities in D1 were pretty bare bones even with skill tree enhancements and exotics. But then again D2 has had more time to flesh things out and create a better power fantasy.

Skips couldn’t kill someone. With the gauntlets you could get someone weak but that was about it. Stickies we’re about the most obnoxious thing in the game but them alone doesn’t make the argument that grenades in d2 aren’t stronger. We have so many ways to boost their damage or regen or build them into gun buffs or more supers. Not even close

Given how shaded your glasses are I'm surprised you can read the texts. I was there for firebolt funeral nades and fusion nades, shinobus got nerf'd pretty quickly, but I'll be happy with devour and the D2 exotic perks for grenades. Osmiomancy and contraverse loopings far more interesting than D1s offering of just one taps, I'm surprised you say "wrong" like they don't exist.

I personally exp’d the OHK on numerous occasions. If I could go back in time to show you a clip I would. You’re just going to have to believe me when I tell you that grenades were more powerful in D1 because they were.

I'm afraid I won't without proof. I can go into D2 mayhem right now and make them look good just lobbing them around all the same. I'd believe a skip could kill one person, but I don't see any patch note or clip where they can kill 3 people. This is why I say your perspective is super rose tinted, and why D2s abilities are just better.
