On Sunbreaker Titan, if you throw a melee hammer, then switch to a sword before picking it up, your melee charge is eaten, and you instead have to wait for the entire melee cooldown duration to get your hammer back. I believe I understand [i]why[/i] it works this way, but I don't believe it [i]should[/i] work this way.
I posted about this in the issues forum and was told it was "intended behavior." I disagree that this is what was intended. For example, the description text says, "Throw a hammer from a distance. After throwing it, picking up the hammer fully recharges your melee ability." It does not say all that plus, "so long as you don't have a sword equipped." If I throw the hammer, switch to a sword, and pickup the hammer, my melee should be charged when I swap away from the sword.

Not a Titan main so I wouldn’t know, does it recharge the sword’s energy? If so that opens up room for a lot of builds. You could throw a hammer, and essentially get a double heavy attack back to back.
