I do believe that every Warlock sub-class should have a turret ability if some kind. Like Bleak Watcher and Arc Soul. If not as an ability of a subclass tree, the. via an exotic like Getaway Artist.
They can reflect the subclass to. Like a void turret would fire less frequently, but cause void explosions, almost like Graviton Lance. Solar would spit fire and leave pools of burning on the ground. Maybe the solar turret is like Bleak Watcher in that it stays where you cast it, and the void turret is like the Arc soul and travels with you.

Voidwalker is getting a black hole that follows them around weaken enemies.

The voidlock changes are giving something like an arc soul. Apparently it’s an aspect that summons a “void soul” that drains a target of its health. Not only will the target be weakened, but if you have empowering rift you get health back and if you have healing rift you get Grenade and melee energy back. This (depending on how practical it is) has made me a practical lock for maiming my Warlock in Witch Queen. It also looks like we’ll get an actually good projectile melee.

I wonder if it is a stationary turret like the Bleak Watcher, something that travels close to you like the Arc Soul, or will make move around within an area seeking out enemies.
