Bout the mars mission
So in destiny’s intro it is shown 3 astronauts discovering the traveler, assuming we would call that year 0 of when the traveler was discovered (props for those 3 madlads bring m16’s into Mars) what year would it be now? And do we know their names?

Mihaylova Qiao As you can tell by the names, the Ares- 1 mission was a cooperation between America, Russia, and China. Records were lost or destroyed during the collapse, but mankind’s golden age lasted 300 or more years. The Dark Ages lasted long enough for “a thousand kings rose and fell over the centuries,” exact amount of years lapsed is unknown. The City Age lasted about 400+ years, and that’s where we are now. Destiny launched in 2014 so that’s when the Traveler was discovered. 300+ (500?) 400+ More, less, or equal to 1200 years have passed since the Traveler entered our solar system.
