Yea I know, just doesnt make much sense to have a whole perk dedicated to changing such a mechanic and have it weaken the weapon. The kinetic should be doing the same damage even after osmosis is proced. It may not seem like much on a auto rifle, but on a handcannon with something like Mantle of battle harmony it could be pretty nasty. I just dont like bungie making things on a weapon, only to have them be redundant/ not worth it in the end. They did the same thing with the fusion masterwork as well.
