My point lol its a pain for character management to need to grind each separately instead of being able to just use one to boost another till its good enough.

Well, I think that was a problem. Players were leveling up with one character and using the armor they got from one class and infusing it with another class. Making leveling up super fast. The other problem was that, people were complaining that leveling was too easy and there’s nothing for them to do. Back then, light level had a hard cap.
-
It’s not like you can’t still do this, if you take power capped weapons and put them on a 1100 guardian, you’ll be skipping hundreds of light levels.
-
But if your already at soft cap on all and hard cap on 1 that does nothing for the other 2....
-
God forbid you may actually have to sometimes play the game, right?
-
I play the game plenty on one character. If this were made available tell us honestly you wouldn't use the feature. You would have that choice to or not to, but I'd bet the farm you'd use that Warlock bond to up the Hunter cape that you just haven't gotten to drop for two-three weeks.
-
Well I did use the feature in D1, and tbh I could’ve sworn it was a thing in early D2 too. But I can see why they would remove it. You still get a shortcut from the weapons anyway, and that’s still dope :D

I can see if it was ever implemented they would bring back the separate armor materials for each class along with it. Plassteel Plating, Sapphire Wire, and that Warlock crap....started with an 'H'.

Yes, I remember, that's what would make the move even more Bungie-fied.

Bearbeitet von T5WARMACHINE: 10/5/2021 8:09:07 AMI'm hardly complaining about playing, it's merely a QoL change to help with character management and to not waste max LL armour just because it for the wrong class. I'm OCD and it's a pain *in* my @$$ having my main character at max light, my other 2 just below, and having to dismantle and waste say a max light helmet just because all my Hunter helms are maxed. With this change it wouldn't be wasted and would go towards another character instead.
