So you must be in favor of a nerf of all shoulder charges and handheld super nova and the warlock turret, and celestial fire.

The nerf on celestial fire sure is necessary, but it is avoidable so it is not a priority. The other abilities you mentioned let you get damage while trying to use them, while glacier/shatterdive combo does not. You can jump throw the grenade before seeing the opponent and shatterdive and that’s it. You can even get triple kill. The others are not as Op as glacier/shatterdive. And the other stasis subclasses have nothing that does the same. They can’t shatter crystals as easily as Revenant. So I guess a damage nerf is necessary just to balance things out

You can absolutely get triple kills with some of those abilities. You use them in ways where you can’t get damaged but guarantee a kill. Really you use them in the same places you’d use shatter dive. And Titans just have to slide and can break crystals even easier than a hunter can. So none of that is really a good argument against shatter dive but defense of the others.

Tell me you are not serious please. To shatter crystals with Titan you have -blam!- run before sliding and freezing someone, then running for more than 1 second and then sliding is really really circumstantial. That can happen a very few times because you’ll get killed in the meantime. With shoulder charge you can get just 1 kill and then is has to recharge. You cannot kill super at all I guarantee you that cause I’m a main character Titan and nobody uses it because of this reason. Supernovq has to be extremely accurate to kill instead shatterdive has a huge area especially with the new aspect. So don’t go further on this lane cause shatterdive/glacier is the most op ability in the game. Given the fact that you can recharge it super fast

It takes the same amount of time to shatter dive kill as get a kill with the titan. It’s just better to use the slide then upper cut that insta freezes and then just punch to instantly shatter enemies. And just like shatter dive how many kills you get with the other abilities is actually just luck. I’ve gotten several kills with both shoulder charges and hand held super nova. Sorry you haven’t been lucky. The reality is you came up against a player who just knows where to put down grenades to get shatter dive kills and you ran to the forums to complain. Never post on the forums after getting owned in crucible.

Countless people have killed my and my teammates with the shatterdive, whether they wer good or bad players. To freeze someone you don’t have to get that close unlike shoulder charge and supernova. Can’t argue that it is so obvious. And it is 100 times more difficult killing someone that jumped on your head than someone that slides or pushes from the ground. Stop defending something that cannot be defended

And countless people have killed teams with all of the other one hit kill abilities. That’s how they work. And yeah, you do have to get close. Freeze only lasts for a second now if it’s an ability like a grenade so shatter dive can only be used in the same proximity as shoulder charge or handheld nova. And if you come across someone using that technique and continue to bunch up so they get easy double kills then your teammates weren’t skilled.

I have tried all of them. They are all the same in how you use them, how effective they are, and in how long they take. Hand held super nova is actually more effective in my opinion since the nerf to stasis.

You must be kidding me right? You have 0.40 kd in trials that’s why you don’t see the problem. This abuse of shatterdive occurs mainly in trials. For a standard 6vs6 you don’t feel the difference that much but in 3vs3 nobody used the abilities you mentioned. Really there zero people using them because they are just too risky

Actually I don’t care about trials which is why my kd is low. I just play with friend who want the bounty reward some weeks and then I avoid it(hate the game type) but in trials I’ve been killed by all of the other abilities. Shoulder charge, hand held nova, shatter dive, and even worse bull shit because 3v3 sucks. But most crucible isn’t 3v3, it’s 6v6 which I play more of and not only do I but other people use shoulder charge and handheld nova and do better than people using shatter dive. Hell you don’t even see shatter dive is most other pvp any more because it was so harshly nerfed.

I wish there were some statistics about shatterdive usage percentage so you could see. Trust me it is a constant in pvp. Anyways good game mate

Trust me, no it’s not. It’s no more common than any other ability, excluding a couple because their trees are bad, but including all the things I’ve listed. One shot kills are always the go to options. The difference for shatter drive is it’s new, that’s it.

Besides, none of those can insta kill supers.

Considering the fact that your account is only a year old and not attached to an actual destiny account I’d have to assume you don’t actually play destiny and therefor have no option that matters.

I have no reason to lie when I say that I played plenty of PvP with clanmates, and I actually know what shatterdive is. lol

Start with a stupid comment to a valid but minor post, escalate it to a claim that’s clearly false, when you get called on clearly not playing the game make up a completely bs excuse, accuse the person of being angry when they aren’t(you just want to pretend they are), deny being a troll, make an accusation of the meaning of the start post that is obviously a stupid interpretation, then get defensive when you being a troll is further asserted.
