Even an arc rocket doesn’t do enough damage to kill the guardian using it.

I stand corrected. The catalyst is the issue. 80% dmg reduction is also applied to the arc this is why its bad. Just got into a fight and was using nation of beast with explosive which hits twice and saw 2 damage twice.

I think there’s a good middle ground between how it is with the catalyst and how it is without.

80% is too high in my opinion regardless of arc or not. I just didn't know that it applied to arc as well which is stupid since it says it bypasses.

I highly doubt the nerf will be too hard. It will also most likely just affect pvp and not pve, so win, win for everyone.

Yea, crazy I did not know they stacked like that though. Most people don't have the catalyst so I can see why its not as much outcry and most encounters with it I have won except the instance I just went through. I mostly use stasis so the shield comes off but I was using dawnblade and all I had was nation of beasts for arc. Thats insane to see 2 dmg twice.

Just glad people don’t use those very often, lol.

If the shield is damaged and you’re at full health, it regens nearly immediately and is immediate if they break the shield. Rift overshield also stacks, but isn’t mobile like icefall.

Very good weapon to keep at the ready for master VoG oracles. Some friends used it in their day 1. I only just recently did my catalyst and I’m loving it.

Had the catalyst for some time but I never could get it to work properly most of my adversaries just run away and eventually teamshot me so It was vaulted. I was wrong about the resistances though and have no problem admitting that.
