At some point we need to focus on the cities infrastructure.

If you ever looked down at the city, it isn't in the greatest shape. The first thing I noticed were the giant craters. Some of them have actually started to form standing water which is dangerous. All sorts of bacteria, viruses and parasites can thrive in them. Unless we want to make it a giant pool, we should move to fix those holes. Also where's out water source. Is it that small lake? we might need something more sanitary. I can't imagine that the water would last long. Maybe we need to focus up on infrastructure damage and fixing it. We still haven't made progress on the old tower. If it's an abandoned project then focus on filling those pits first. We can have the Eliksni help us. Filling those holes would make tons of new space for building or farmland and other infrastructure. Also we should repair some of the old damaged buildings from the Red War.

  • The reason why the last city hasn't repaired the craters or fixed buildings since the Red War (that thing that never happened because Beyond Light), or even repaired the Almighty wound in the Tower, is because city repairs are locked behind Eververse. That brush emote? Nah, that's an actual brush to clean with and the Last City community aren't stupid enough to buy them just to sweep their houses. They also have to buy shaders from Tess whenever they want to redecorate their homes, hence the run down shit-tip the Last City has become because they have more sense than to spend thousands at Eververse, unlike Guardians.

  • Glimmer can be used as water, it can be programmed into matter. With futuristic technology, the fact that human lifespan has tripled since the golden age, and how diseases aren’t ever discussed in lore, it’s safe to say that the craters aren’t a problem.

    • I would imagine that the primary water supplies of the city come from underground aquifers, reclaimed and reprocessed waste water, and possibly purified rain water. Glimmer is an entirely reasonable source too but as a raw material would be, I imagine, more valued in the production of less accessible resources. The craters would take an immense amount of manpower and resources in terms of industrial machinery, fuel, and time to fill. With existing infrastructure as crumbling and damaged as it is perhaps the Consensus doesn't believe it time to invest such resources in new projects. In all likelihood the factions probably don't see land reclamation or new housing projects as such hot button political battlegrounds when they can continually jab at Vanguard Policy instead.
