The gamemode is a joke, here is my extensive list on why:
- no maps since season 6.
- literally no ammo economy balancing.
- no super recharge balancing.
- no solo playlist.
- the matchmaking is hilariously bad as every game I’m in, my teammates get farmed and contribute nothing.
- for this reason, why even play solo? 4 stacking is required to consistently win.
- no invader role queue so if playing solo, you can go an entire game without anyone invading.
- there is no reason to play outside of 4 weapons that have a 1 in 60,000 chance to get the roll you want and drop rarely and the weekly pinnacle.
- there is no end game gambit so no adepts or competitive mode for players who actually like to play gambit.
- heavy ammo is a major issue as some player will get showered in it and others will receive 0 drops over multiple games.
- blockers are a joke considering the 5 and 10 blockers literally get 1 shot and the 15 mote blockers are bullet sponges.
- THE GILDED TITLE REQUIRES 50 WINS????? In what world is this fun to get?
- once the primeval is summoned, it is nearly impossible for the team that is behind to catch up as the boss can be easily melted with no damage gates.
- titans nearly dominate the playlist thanks to thundercrash
- ranking up is the most painful experience out there. It should not be 15000 infamy to reset.
- games last about 2/3s of the time of a crucible match, the rank max should be about 3000 or 4000 with infamy gains being similar to crucible.
- we need a catalyst for malfeasance in gambit or another exotic to give us more reasons to play.
- malfeasance should work while invading
Thanks for listening to this feedback, even though I feel like bungie won’t listen at all and have fully left this shell of a mode in the dust.

You should add how in one match the adds will be pushovers but in the next everything, even the weakest enemy, seems like boss-level tough. I play Gambit fairly often despite its many issues but the weird inconsistent damage dealing of the enemies is perplexing. I used to think I was imagining it but on one run of matches using the exact same loadout I melted one set of enemies (Fallen) and then when the Fallen came up again several matches later it was like my guns were firing blanks. I think other people have noticed this too, though I'd like to get some actual proof. I wonder if there is some hidden modifier in matches that gets applied.

The problem with gambit is
Gambit itself
