Am I still a Veteran?
I've been playing Destiny since Beta D1 on my Xbox 360. After that, I had my Guardian brought over to D2 on Xbox One. Fast forward a few years and I've bought myself a PC and enabled cross save with my xbox account to keep my adventure going but I've noticed some odd dialogue. I'm not entirely sure if my account has retained veteran status or not.
I've heard there's rumors that there's a bug if you pick up the New Light quest even on a veteran Guardian that it resets your status. I deeply hope this isn't true or if it is, it gets patched quickly.

The new light quest does indeed mess with veteran dialogue on the first character you complete it with. My titan is my original character but doesn't get veteran dialogue after completing new light
