So I'm almost done with Pokemon Sword...
As a Pokemon game, it was okay. The story is most likely the worst out of any of the Pokemon games I've played. All of the new QoL features, such as mints, are really nice to have, and the Wild Area is pretty cool.
Overall I feel like this was more of a transitionary game, so it was probably rushed.
Oh, and Galarian Darmanitan is absolutely busted lol.

11 AntwortenThe story wasn’t terrible, honestly, it just for some reason decided we weren’t the main character. Like, every time something happened, Leon just kinda took care of it for us. The Wild Area was neat, but I hope it stays the way it is. That is to say, a small open area, rather than an entire open world. I like the linear structure, with an open area to run around in as the endgame. An entire open world wouldn’t be very fun, I think. The designs this time around are some of the best! This gen & last gen have been superb in that department. And wherever they go next, I hope we get some form of raid battles again. I really enjoyed co-op!
