It’s been 6 years

Things Players have been asking 6 years for: 1) A list of opt-out maps to personally customize to avoid maps we hate 2) Being told during loading what PVP map we are loading into for ample time to change our loadout accordingly 3) Clash to be a permanent game mode (Seriously, a shooter without basic TDM) 4) A user friendly material system. The current system is so poorly thought out and anti-user that I can't even start with that 5) For bungie to understand that making useless things usable isn't power creep 6) Decide if we are going to have power creep or if we will be balanced in PVE and PVP. They make controversial choices to nerf us, for the sake of 'balancing' while giving us huge power creep in the same breath 7) Fix gambit. There is literally a switch in custom games to turn off heavy weapons when invading. Just flick that switch and the mode will be far less toxic, perhaps more enjoyable 8 ) Collect new bounties from orbit. The fun doesn't need to stop, taking up minutes of time to do such a task 9) DIM, but in game. Going to the tower has become a huge waste of time. Pausing the fun to go do these little things. The tower simply isn't that interesting anymore and doesn't have enough going on for players to feel good about tower trips. Going to the tower to clear postmaster, exchange weapons, collect bounties and whatnot becomes an annoyance when someone in the party has to do this and no one else does. We Shouldn't need to rely on third party applications to carry guns around and do these little things. Why not just more inventory slots for weapons and armor on our person? It's either impossible or heavily punished to change weapons in PVE so what's the real deal here? 10) Destiny 1 on PC. Sure, we have the vaulting system, but destiny 1 and destiny 2 are very different games. VOG is not going to be nearly as difficult, nor have that 'bitten off more than we can chew' feeling. 11) Far more vault space. Why has vault space ever been an issue for this game to have? Seriously? 12) More stable game servers. Some days, no matter how good your internet is, the servers kick you without warning. We all know that feeling 13) Don't punish us for leaving hacker matches in comp and other modes. Our time is valuable and limited. Don't punish us for not wanting to spend 10-20 min against obvious hackers 14) All of the destiny content in one game. Everything. Some of us have crazy storage space and can fit all that content, gladly playing every little thing while other don't. For those who don't have space to spare, allow them to uninstall planets they aren't interested in playing rather than punishing everyone. A lot of good content left the game for seemingly no good reason. Idk what bungie is on, but I've never heard any complaints about size. If you play destiny, it's fair to except that it will take up meaty space. As it should, with all that content we *had* to enjoy 15) Power level overhaul. I might sound a little crazy here, but I think year 1 of destiny 1 power grind made more sense and functioned far better than this current system. I'm pretty sure no one likes this power system, and all I see is the agony people experience when thinking about, and actively getting more power. This system is lazy and pretty trash even for those that enjoy grinding in games 16) Listen more to the community. These forums stand as an eternal flame of toxicity, anger and pain. Bungie made it that way. Constant changes we don't want. Adding in/changing these we pleaded not to happen, ignoring us when we ask for little things, basic things, or to be heard at all. These forums stand as bungies creation for ignoring us all this time 17) More effort. There was a time when bungie released 2-3 dlc a year. With the exception of The Taken King and Forsaken, the dlcs were about the same size and quality. Some fluctuation, but the same ballpark of sub par and not enough for the asking price. The reality is that bungie is a far larger studio than we might be led to believe, and one mediocre dlc a year for double the cost compared to 2-3 dlcs of the same size and quality at half the price each? Unacceptable, and I truly feel that large parts of the community have been groomed to believe the rate and quality of the content we get is okay. It's not. Bungie would have been out of business long ago thanks to their destiny endeavors if they didn't have that sweet activision money to keep the lights on 18) Factions to be a thing. Why are they not a thing? The seemed to work perfectly (not in my opinion) for most people out there in destiny 1. Rewarding, distinct, things to chase and cosmetics to go for that made you stand out. Bungie was on the right track with weaving factions more into gameplay, but then they outright ripped them from the game. 19) Make shaders a permanent reusable since the old system has been long abandoned. The current system is so anti-practical that some alien must have designed it. 20) Stop removing good ideas from Destiny. There are a lot of quality of life changes and general improvements to the player experience that destiny 1 added over time. Only for close to non of those good ideas to make it into destiny 2. 21) Don't lock players out of huge chunks of the game if they haven't purchased the dlc yet. Back in year one of destiny 1, you pretty much couldn't play the game because everything shifted to dlc content only on playlists, rotations and weeklies. Things are a little better, but players still get screwed over if they don't want to, or simply haven't gotten around to the dlc 22) Don't make us toggle between scoreboard and tracked bounties/missions when our ghost is pulled up in pvp. Just show both. 23) Stats to have much larger impacts on gameplay. PVP and PVE 24) Separate sandboxes for pvp and pve. If you say it can't be done by bungie, they've done it. There is a wide list of things that simply work a little different in pvp for the sake of balancing. Just make it across the board as to not needlessly punish something because you tuned it in a completely different mode in the game. 25) Bring back those fun, interesting and well tuned modifiers for strikes and endgame content that destiny 1 had. Some would help us, some would harm us. Always a healthy mix. These days, grandmasters are brutally boring and destiny difficulty scaling at its worst. 26) Make bright dust far more accessible in-game. There are already real cash only skins, so why do you keep nerfing our ability to get bright dust for those free skins? 27) More postmaster space. Maybe it's been a long raid for you, you are packed, your postmaster is packed, and you'll never know what you lost. Could have been what you spent hours for. 28) Allow blues to drop purples and purples to drop exotics. That was a neat system 29) Stable pvp. We are either in a nightmare of SBMM literally not working, provably matching low skill to high skill because of course it would, or connection based that does little to try and balance the teams. Other games in the industry have no problem finding a "Halfway Happy" as Hopper would say. everyone says that dropping SBMM makes it more fun but you're doing something wrong if I can mercy, or get mercied for several games in a row. 30) Communication from bungie. Tell us what is planned, explain some choices, address our concerns 31) Functioning PvP spawns. Spawning into a sniper, shotgun, enemy already shooting me, a super, non of that should ever happen. Control being our only casual pvp we have shines a spotlight on how bad these spawns can be as they will spawn you and an enemy side by side and players have to walk into your spawn and spawnkill your team to flip the spawn to take your spawn and delay your team from getting to B. Resulting in a lot of points on the board put there thanks to spawn killing and spawn trapping. 32) fix join in progress. It has to exist, but people simply leave if they match into a 3/1 losing match. Players shouldn't be matched into a game that is about to, or actively being finished for a mercy. This seems to have gotten worse since Beyond Light. 33) Choice to skip campaign on other characters after completing it once 34) Auto dismantle blues 35) turn off helmet during gameplay 36) show tracked triumphs and catalysts when you pull out ghost 37) more tracked bounty slots 38) Make rank up banners smaller. Taking up the whole screen and lasting what feels like forever since it always happens when you're trying to tinker with your loadout or something. The +1 artifact power banner is perfect. Just make it like that. Noticeable, but in the way of nothing 39) Removing glimmer cost on installing mods. It shouldn't be economically cheaper to have multiple armor sets to dodge the literal thousands in glimmer cost to change mods around, which we do A LOT. We need that glimmer to buy the resources that spider never seems to sell when you need them 40) Don't close us out of our menu when we load into something. We are doing important things 41) make progress matter again 42) have the postmaster throw out low level blues before exotics and legendaries rather than the most recently earned 43) Make venders great again 44) A search ability added to everything 45) strike specific loot to return 46) Load into strikes solo 47) farming planetary resources to be fruitful 48) Customizing class trees again 49) SRL 50) stop rotating out the modes we want to play 51) Don’t despawn heavy ammo spawn while we are holding ‘pick up’ 52) Remove teammate collision 53) Add the new system that shows when a boss will go immune to all bosses. It stops us from wasting heavy and super on a boss 1hp from immune state 54) fully functional ability to choose between using charged or uncharged melee rather than range based or ‘only when you don’t have your super’ 55) replay any story mission with the system from destiny 1
