Would have been nice to not use a strike for NightFall The Ordeal that requires Beyond Light.
At the very least, have the game use another strike for those that don’t have Beyond Light or open that strike up to everyone for this week only so they can get the powerful and pinnacle gear.
Players who don’t have Beyond Light are being cheated out of it when normally they would be able to do it.

The strike just like all the past ones in the previous dlc have no special drops

I suggest posting about this in the game issues forum as thats where most mods, and devs will be looking, you won't get much if any exposure here.

Excuse me but Nightfall The Ordeal never required the dlc. It was an activity that was available to everyone. I was able to do it last week and before that. I shouldn’t have to get the dlc just to play an activity that is normally available to everyone.

It might be because it's the glassway strike and that's from beyond Light. Sorry about these people being extremely rude and just yelling at you just buy the game, the best thing to do is ignore them, they're not worth the time.

That’s what I suspected. It might become available again with the new week when a new strike is chosen. If I were Bungie I would be careful not to choose a strike that is not part of the free game. Here is why. There are 2 base trophies (base meaning: Trophies required for platinum) that can only be earned by playing NightFall The Ordeal. Sony has a rule that prohibits developers from requiring players to pay for a dlc or add on content to earn a base trophy. By choosing this strike they maybe in violation of this rule.

Wasn't expansion specific nightfalls locked behind their respective DLC before? The issue with the trophies is a non starter because you can complete the trophies another week.

How dare I read the TOS where Bungie specifically states you don’t own the content, THEY do. You can play other activities, or buy the expansion.
