Destiny 2 Forsaken, Shadowkeep and beyond light free next gen upgrades.
I purchased beyond light for the xbox one as that is the platform I currently play on. However now with new knowledge of the next gen consoles I am considering switching to playstation as Xbox Live gold will now cost a ridiculous amount more than it used. But I also don't want to switch and then need to pay for all of the DLC's I already purchased again just to have access to that content. So I am just wondering if it will be a free next gen upgrade for someone switching platforms because I don't think I can pay for the new online system with Xbox and I have already spent a lot of money on destiny 2.

To have access to those DLCs on Playstation, you would need to purchase them with your Playstation account. If you purchase them on PS4, they will be free to download on the PS5 with the same account.
