Your up/down and ping aren't the only things that effect networking issues. I've already told you this and you ignored it

The tech details don't matter. The game should be fixed.
The tech details don't matter. The game should be fixed.
That statement alone shows much you know about this topic, which is almost nothing

So not port forwarding and blocking connections is bungie's fault? Not having an open nat type is bungie's fault? In some cases using the wrong WiFi channel is bungie's fault? Understandable

Bearbeitet von Darth Derrr (Defiled): 10/25/2020 8:18:56 PMYes. Detect it and if a network doesn't comply, not allowed. It's Bungie's fault these morons can play the game.
-
You know they can't really do that, right? some ISPs/routers restrict port forwarding and some routers port forward differently.
-
That comes down to the ISP if ports are blocked or not forwarded . You can then change the settings. Also the majority of players dont have a clue what any of that means
-
That's probably because the game doesn't educate anyone about it. I think there should at least be some messaging if someone's playing in a situation that makes pvp garbage for them or others...show links to get more info to fix it, etc. It's not rocket science. Id think with the emphasis pvp gets these days, it'd be in the games best interests to do this. You can just disagree all you want but it doesn't change the awful pvp experience we all have, whether it's on our misconfigured network or someone else's. I'm thinking of ways to change that. Saying no doesn't help anything.

There is a troubleshooting page...
-
Anyway...it seems this is just fine with you. I guess either you don't care much about your pvp experience or you somehow exploit this... And I guess because it's fine with you, we can just drop it. It's not like Bungie will touch this thread with the small amount of community likes, etc so far. I'm out.
-
Anyway I'm sure not educating yourself to solve a problem is others fault . I'm out
-
My network settings are correct. It's not the issue, troll
-
Same I have very little issues . Troll
-
Good for you. Just because your experience is fine for you invalidates my issues then? I didn't know you were king. Sorry. Won't happen again sire. Lmao
-
I'd ring up bungie and ask them personally to come to you and help you with your internet issues that usually the best way .

Bearbeitet von Darth Derrr (Defiled): 10/25/2020 10:48:42 PMI have a degree in computer science. I know my stuff is set up correctly. You're not listening. Shut up
-
If you don't understand basic things like how bungie can't port forward everyone automatically I highly doubt you have a degree in computer science...
-
I don't understand networking details for gaming too much but I'm fairly sure the game can test to see if port forwarding is working on all the needed ports. Just fire off some test requests and check the response or something like that?

You don't have an issue. Congratulations. I do. But I guess it doesn't matter because you say I'm lying. You must be a truly awesome person in real life.
-
I didn't say you were lying
-
I'm that case you're response doesn't make any sense.
-
It doesn't do any good to have a troubleshooting page sometimes. The problem needs to be obvious to these players.
-
Hmmm I have a problem , I wont do anything about it and blame others for those issues .
