Sunsetting is an okay solution if content isn’t recycled. The way it’s being handled rn isn’t right.

The way it's being implemented in this game IS recycled content though. The plan with the content vault is to eventually cycle stuff in and out, like a card game does with set rotations. That means eventually Titan, assuming it survives, will be brought back into rotation and any drops from that content will be brought back. If you still don't believe that, look back at Destiny 1 and see how they did this crap before. Guns got sunsetted, then brought back later.
