This is well written and it made me think about what Warframe has over Destiny for me.
It's passion.
I actually feel like DE has passion for the game.
Bungie, it's freaking impossible, all I ever see is Luke spouting crap I hate, CMs doing seemingly nothing and everything they can simultaneously, and a Dev team who have the audacity to act like their friends with us, yet we know not a single one to any relative extent. You never see their faces, you never see them show how much really show they care.
Meanwhile, I know two instances where Warframe lead devs actually get choked up or sad, probably close to crying at the thought of the game falling apart if everyone just left in an instant and overtly negative feedback being very hard to handle. I can tell they care, and I believe it. Those people get on Camera so freaking much to face their players and talk to them like humans. Not Scarab Lords behind a keyboard and a shield of arrogance from anyone who might think he's really not up to the task. Advertising streams led by a guy you likely would have forgotten had he not chosen oh so graciously to interview devs that you'll forget come tomorrow don't count either.
I also love how there's a legitimate population that straight-up hate Destiny's content creators, I can be wrong, but I don't think the same is true on the other side.
Bungie has been failing to show that they really care, so why should I? Destiny isn't the only thing in my life, and I'm truly sad for those that actually do live by it. Sad for anyone living off one game. You reduce yourself so much.

DE? The same DE that knee jerked nerfed Healing cuase 1 event was being made easier by players using a tip they promoted. That was only undone after every single person within the community told them it was a dumb change. the DE that nerf led every XP grind spot to date over players leveling too fast?

Warframe is by far the most grind based game ever. Also EVERYTHING is micro-transaction, either grind for months in game or shell out money. All game devs care about what they are working on, you thinking otherwise about Bungie employees is all your ignorance and lack of perspective and experience. Again this generation of gamers that spew hatred of all kinds in every direction is the problem. These people will never be satisfied by any design or dev choice because in their head they are the genius creator that could do so much better but have done nothing. Sorry but this is the truth.

It's ironical how you say gamers are the problem while hating on another game. As for warframe, I have played WF from Update 9 - Nova Update which came in 2013. That's 7 years and I still play WF to this day and still find something to have fun with. Meanwhile, I started playing D2 from October 2019 and I am done with the game already. Haven't logged in for a week or so I think. Don't even get the urge to play it. You say WF is a microtransaction fest. And you can't be anymore more wrong than this. 7 freaking years and I have not spend a single penny in that game, yet I literally have everything except Hema, Corinth Prime and a few Kuva weapons that I would eventually farm. I even bought every single deluxe skin except the last Excalibur skin. Yes, even bought the lastest Ash skin. Those all needs platinum and the fact that I can just play the game and even buy the premium stuff is not even comparable to what D2 offers in Silver. ALL THIS WITHOUT SPENDING A SINGLE PENNY IN 7 YEARS. And if you don't believe me, look me up on WF (pc version). My IGN is - NN13. Look at the time played, look at all the things I have in that game, all for free. But, honestly, by the looks of it, I don't think you even play WF. Please enlighten me on what exactly took "months" to farm in WF that you could buy in a moment with only real money and not traded platinum. Because last I played, I farmed Atlas Prime, Ivara Prime and Titania Prime in one day, like 4 hours or so. And yes, I farmed those, did not buy them with platinum. So, maybe get educated first instead of talking out of your ass?

I said Bungie is failing to show that they care, not that they don't. Destiny is all microtransactions now too isn't ? Most purchases involve Silver I'm not arguing on the game's functionality itself as that's irrelevant to the point. Don't derail the argument.

Yes there are micro-transactions in both and in destiny it doesn't effect how you can play. Warframe's frames on the other hand is like if Warlocks in Destiny were behind a micro-transaction pay wall. Or if you downloaded for free the latest Mortal Kombat and then had 3 characters you could play until you unlocked every other one, one at a time, through hundreds of hours of play or pay to win transactions. Just curious have you ever worked in a studio, on a multiple year project with hundreds of people and moving parts, with a tight multi million dollar budget? If not there is no way to understand the level of passion each and every team member has at every major studio.

The micro transaction currency in warframe exists as its own player economy; while yes you can buy ‘platinum’ outright or spend money on a new frame, you could just as easily do a bit of grinding and earn the majority of the new content or find pieces to trade for. Since ‘silver’ is not an in game currency to be traded and cannot be earned in game the destiny micro transaction system is flawed

Again, I said "show".
Bungie has been failing to show that they really care, so why should I?
I'm sure many feel this way now because of the direction they have taken this game since it released. This is not Destiny, I don't know what this is and neither does the company and that is a really bad thing.

No one knows what Destiny is. It was cut up and sold to us in the span of 2 years so they could make more money. The fact that TDB or HoW came out in the state they did is proof of the game not being itself.
