I just completed the "dead is dead" part of this quest and its sent me back to the "shape of things to come" afterwards. This step completed straight away and now I'm having to grind out 75 double plays again for "the" candidate" step. What's the deal why do I have to repeat steps? Has this happened to anyone else?

yes, this glitch has happened to me, but it only happened after i was half-way through a step and then a new week started or if a new season started. (it happened to me around 3-4 times)
