It's annoying that they know and can fix it, it's just they don't want to because it's part of their plan sorta speak to waste our time.
If you look at how much time is actually wasted playing this game because running back and forth to the tower, you can easily see things like how the Cryptarch should be removed.
1. Why do I need to use a useless vender to decrypt a power engram when legendary engrams automatically decrypt? A time-waster.
2. Why do I need to use the useless shop just to decrypt a bright engram? A time-waster
3. Why do a few items go to the post master that should stack? A time -waster.
4. Why are there way too many mindless bounties in this game? A time-waster.
This company spends too much time wasting a player's time then anything else in this game.

You can decrypt bright engrams from the store in your menu, anywhere in the game. Don't need the tower. You can use Destiny Item Manager (DIM) for everything else aside from the Cryptarch: https://app.destinyitemmanager.com/

I go to the tower once a day, pick up bounties clear everything from the PM, and cash in any engrams. Takes 5 minutes at most. I would say that if you are out in the world long enough to fill all the empty spaces in your character inventory, and 20 places in the PM, you deserve to lose items. It is obvious you are too lazy to manage items you pick up as you go along. You might even be using the PM as a second vault, which it is not meant to be. In that case, if you are using the PM as vault space you doubly deserve if something is deleted. You are intentionally doing something the game was not designed to do, and you know better. You know what happens and yet you persist in blaming Bungie. Yes the system could be better, but it isn't the largest QOL item that needs addressing. There are a lot of things that need work instead of the PM deleting items.

Call it like I see it. You refuse to manage your gear, and them complain that it takes too long to delete a few items in between activities. What do you think people are going to say? "You are totally right, we should all march against the bully that is bungie, because this guy and a couple other players do not manage their gear well?" Take a little responsibility, you lost all credibility the moment you pretended that 5 minutes a play session is too much of a time waster. It just ain't that hard, does not take that long and has been this way since I started playing.

Depending on whom you ask, people will have a different answer. Good bad or indifferent, people give value to the game and treat things accordingly. On PC, I have no issues loading in and doing my thing. On console with an SSD, no issues. The ps5 and new Xbox? I'm sure the game will load faster.

The load time I have accepted that this is the way it is going to be on the console. No one should have to ever buy any accessories for any console, it's the company's responsibility to proved decent service for renting their game. As far as time spent in the game, it's been 6 years. There as no reason at this point to make unnecessary busywork. It's like not being able to store certain items in our vault or allowing certain items to stack by going straight to our inventory. 6 years and they still can't figure basic things out?

Concerning the "busy work", if the simplify the bounties and make them shared, it would alleviate tension but it won't be eliminated. Bounties are the lifeblood of the game.

Bounties are what they are, the company is set in their ways so that is another thing I've had to accept and okay with. The busy work I'm referring to is all the time wasted going back and forth to the tower for things like the postmaster for items that don't stack. It's like the Ascendant shards, I'm not sure if they stack more then 3 and I have a fourth one from the season of the worthy rewards. Do I take it and have a chance of it being lost or do they stack? because if not, that is terrible programming forcing people to use items when they don't want to. I should be allowed to use anything anytime I want to, not when this company expects me to when it comes to material, consumables, etc. So from the way I'm seeing things, it's 2020 and this company wastes the player's time a lot more then they should be doing.

Concerning stacking materials, it's weird how they only have up to five. It shouldn't be limited in that way. some people just want to stack them up and use them later. I'm not understanding why we can't hold a hundred or a thousand. those usually get patched in. Relative to D1 we were only able to hold 200 legendary shards. Look at where we are now concerning glimmer and shards. I'm not understanding why they repeat similar mistakes. I wonder if it's not the same team that keeps working on these sort of aspects of the game.

When it comes to stacking they have shown they can do it because they have done it. I want to be playing the game, not looking back at the tower wondering whats stuck in the postmaster like the modules I think that still take to long to delete from the postmaster.
