High value items displaced by worthless blue crap in postmaster
Can you please look at adding an auto delete option for the postmaster so good items do not get displaced by worthless blue crap. This would also help to reduce the number of times I have to go back to the tower to delete...it sucks

1 AntwortenDude, how long have you been playing this game? It's called DIM. I don't even run the game without running Destiny Item Manager first. You can literally move items around between your postmaster, vault and all three characters right from your browser or app on your desktop. ALT-TAB, clear the postmaster, get your epic loots.

I've got 10 ascended shards deleted by blue boots, it hurts indeed. But bungie don't wants you to farm your but off for a week, store it and never play again. It's annoying that that can happen but I understand the reason why.

I dunno, can you look into using either the Destiny app, or DIM to pull your worthless blue crap to your character and just delete it during loading screens?

The game will tell you that the postmaster is out of space, when you see the message you should head to the tower and sort it out. I play on console so I dont like heading to the tower for only one thing. I use DIM, since it let's you clear out you postmaster without having to head to the tower.

Umm since auto dismantling isn’t a think maybe use the app to move item instead of -blam!- in the forums. Sounds like a time management problem.

It’s always worked like this. That doesn’t make it right. Blues should never push legendary or exotic items out of the postmaster. -
I bet all these negative posts play on PC so they don't have to wait 8 minutes to fly one way into the tower, then 8 minutes into whatever activity, just to go clear your post master. Technically you can transfer items one at a time during the loading through an app, but that is obnoxious too. Just seems silly to have that as part of the game. Inventory management is the true end game haha

14 AntwortenIt's annoying that they know and can fix it, it's just they don't want to because it's part of their plan sorta speak to waste our time. If you look at how much time is actually wasted playing this game because running back and forth to the tower, you can easily see things like how the Cryptarch should be removed. 1. Why do I need to use a useless vender to decrypt a power engram when legendary engrams automatically decrypt? A time-waster. 2. Why do I need to use the useless shop just to decrypt a bright engram? A time-waster 3. Why do a few items go to the post master that should stack? A time -waster. 4. Why are there way too many mindless bounties in this game? A time-waster. This company spends too much time wasting a player's time then anything else in this game.

3 AntwortenI will hop on and play a few hours of PvP without leaving que. often enough, an exotic or legendary I want will drop, attempt to go to post master but simply vanish because my post master is full of blues from my session. It’s not fun to leave the game mode I want to play just to delete stuff because the game is missing a huge quality of life feature. So many years later, Bungie knows this is a problem and just decided it’s not worth their time to implement a simple feature to fix

It's already in the game. Periodically go to the tower and there's this area where you can access postmaster. Access it and viola, you can delete items to your hearts content.

I think The Vault app will transfer blues to your vault.

You actually don´t need to go back to the tower, instead use DIM (DestinyItemManager), it´s a seperate site you can run while playing to clear the postmaster. Once I´d heard about it I can´t live without it, makes things much easier!

I think the game should prioritize legendary and exotic drops. So say you finish a strike or crucible match and you get a couple blues and an exotic or legendary. Instead of the legendary or exotic to the post master because they dropped last, the game should auto move blue items from your characters inventory to the postmaster and make room for high value items.

Or... clean in out more frequently you dumpling. A real criticism would be end the arbitrary caps on prisms and shards so i dont have to store stuff in the post master

You shouldn't use you Postmaster as storage. Clean it out once day. They could make it larger, but it still shouldn't be used as storage for long periods of time

I wish you could upgrade the rare armor to Legendary. Some of it looks great :)

21 AntwortenIf you had something valuable in the postmaster, you should have retrieved it. This is how the postmaster has always worked since Destiny 1. It is not meant as extra storage for items. If it's extra trips to the tower you're worried about, download the app and retrieve the items that way.
