It’s a pinnacle activity. It’s perfectly fine that it’s LL

You could be the best PvP player and still loose to someone who has grinded more lost sectors/bounties because of LL, not skill. It’s gotta go.
-
This game is pve and pvp. You need to do both to succeed. It’s definitely a good thing. Stop complaining.
-
It’s feedback, not complaining. How would you feel having to level in comp and trials, to be raid ready?
-
It’s bad feedback. Trials has always been like this and for some reason people are crying that it’s got to go now
-
You can’t compare LL advantages in D1 and D2, the scaling and level of difference is non comparable.
-
It’s only different because of the artifact this week which will be disabled after this weekend.
-
It should be removed entirely, as it ads literally no functionality to fairness and balance. I’m yet to hear a good counter other than ‘stop complaining’.....

Bearbeitet von Exbox: 3/14/2020 1:57:25 PMYou have one character above 960! Play the game and get higher light level. You’re on the low end of the spectrum. Of course you don’t like light level enabled because you’re bottom of the barrel. You’re not ready for trials yet. Go play some PVE activities to get your LL up.
-
Cause I play exclusively PVP. Check my hours man hah
-
Because it’s PvP end game in a game that revolves around PvE and PvP! It’s a good feature! If you don’t want to play with light level advantages there are several other playlists you can sink your balls into. Stay out of trials if you don’t like it. Stop trying to complain and have it changed for people that do like it.

Don’t be so touchy man. It’s a hot topic that has a pretty common feedback, peeps don’t like LL advantages it as it throttles the content. LL is pointless overall, and needs major loving, and until then should be removed from PvP as it pushes out PvP exclusive players. Just as PvE players hate being pushed into crucible, the same goes on the contrary. Simple sauce. TLDR. If I exclusively play PvP, I can’t compete in PvP endgame...which is bad design. If you don’t get that, idk.
-
I don’t know what to tell you then. Trials has always been my favorite thing about Destiny and it’s annoying to see a bunch of people complain about it. My clan is pretty big on PvP and we have a guy that’s just like you. Only plays pvp so he’s not high LL. We told him the same thing I’ve been telling you. It’s an end game activity that requires you to have high light level and be good at pvp. You’re only 960. That’s really low and if you come across a 1000+ team you’ll get demolished no matter how good you are. But you don’t need 1000. Get yourself up to 975+ and you’ll be fine.

Bearbeitet von AZAWESTIE: 3/14/2020 2:11:13 PMOh for sure. I loved trials in D1 and even loved Trials of the nine. Grinding for Claymore was killer but destiny PvP has always been my jam. I get the concept of leveling LL....it’s just mind numbing to a PvP guy. I just come from the standpoint that if I am shooting you with a spare rations, in end game PvP, our damage numbers should be the same no matter what.
-
The difference isn’t too bad if you switch up the weapons you use. So I’m around 980 and when I went up against 1000+ I noticed my bow doing less damage but it was still a one shot head shot and a body shot to kill them. Do you have a clan that helps you with pve content? I enjoy pvp more than pve but I still play the pve a lot. I don’t think either side is enjoyable enough to only play pve or only play pvp.
-
Totally, I’m looking forward to a week of grinding to jump into trials next week, no doubt it’ll be a hoot! No clan, jumped around a few but since the switch to steam everyone I’ve played with have bounced. But PvE hasn’t interested me since TTK/ROI ey, haven’t watched a single cutscene in D2 despite doing every bit of content (minus latest raids). I guess I only PvE for PvP loadouts. Spare, MB etc ;) I love that this game covers so many bases and interests, just sometimes wish it wasn’t so blanketed.
-
I understand that. After a while the LL doesn’t really matter as much because everyone will Be mid to high. Just like in D1 once your max light you only really have an advantage over people with low light.
-
That’s it, I’ve just found in D2 that gap seems wider due to the hard caps/artifact/pinnacles. Glad they took artifact out of the equation so things don’t get too silly XD
