5-0... then lose the next 3 games to 1010 guardians i can't 3 tap. You guys are so disconnected with reality it's unbelievable.
EDIT:
Ok ok.. One valid comment I can totally agree with. A base light level keeps cheaters from creating an account doing paid carries.
That I can get behind. So, find a solution that does exactly that without giving irrelevant advantage to players in a "competitive pvp" mode. So ya. I stand behind the 960 minimum. But that's where it should end, and LL enabled should not be a thing.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Giggles: 3/15/2020 10:15:18 AMI do not have an opinion. LL is or is not bad....the issue is deeper. Bungie had how many years to release this? That sad excuse of a dev video what did he say again? " WE WANTED TO BE 100% SURE WE RELEASED IT RIGHT AND IT IS THE BEST!"....1st day what happenes? Ugh we forgot to disable the artifact. A A Ron you done messed up, Go to OSHACK Hennesseys office!! WTF!!! That is just pure shortsighted lazy work and quite honestly I could not see your company being ISO9001 complaint seeing you do not properly bug test before releasing software. Do you even have a quality plan? Control plan and PFMEA? Does a QC department exist? How do manage and mitigate external and internal issues? Risk management? Yeah right Either way the main issue in this is the community attitude in this game. Everyone is dead set on screwing over the next team. Not get their flawless and step out a sec, nope get it and queue right back up solely to screw the next team over. There is no FairPlay attitude, no sportsmanship mindset that "I would rather have a real challenge and not use the crappiest broken load out I can find". Is there a game that it exists? Probably not as this type of game only breeds the worst of the worst and Bungie takes advantage of it. Instead of all of us demanding a better game, you all are too busy with the stupid childish "get gud" crap or simply saying the opposite to only disagree or make someone look bad....sounds about like how the damn game is played as well huh? Bungie had how many years to build this yet they barely put 1% effort into it. They built it the way "they" wanted to play it and released it and said btw, even if you don't pay please play. Really rewarded the people who have paid, waited with 0 PVP improvements or updates and supported this game. Pay don't pay its all the same now, same loot, same gear same bounties same BS. They want the F2P chinese market who buy everything in ever verse, we do not matter no more. It is a not mobile mobile game now. Simple short story missions and repeats of everything else. Wouldn't be surprised if it shows up on a phone soon like Blizzard did with diablo.

160 AntwortenTrials of Osiris has always had power enabled and we decided to keep that going when bringing it back for Destiny 2. Starting next week, the Artifact Power will not be enabled, so as long as you hit the cap and no one else will have any power advantage over you. I'll pass along feedback here from anyone who believes all power should be disabled. Feel free to share your thoughts on where you stand and why.

1 AntwortenLight level is enabled in gambit too though

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von GHOST: 3/15/2020 6:58:23 AMI agree with this. Most hardcore pvp players aren’t anywhere close to the soft cap light level because they only pvp. We waited so long for trials to come back. With light level enabled you’ve basically rewarded the casual gamer who cries about pvp, “not forgotten is too strong etc” instead of the players that spend day in and day out. The issue is compounded when you buff the hell out of Hardlight which has no damage falloff so you have these 1000 light players spamming that throughout a match and sure the good players may outplay them at times but the 20 extra light levels they have on most gives them a huge damage boost. This isn’t about getting good. Bungie really has bungled this. It wouldn’t be as big of an issue if they hadn’t buffed auto rifles so much. And here is a good example of this argument I was in a match at 978 light a 1009 warlock placed an empowering rift and 1 shot body shot me with a sniper rifle. That isn’t skill. That isn’t out playing someone. That is ridiculous bulls*** that shouldn’t happen.

33 AntwortenBearbeitet von Noble 6: 3/14/2020 2:47:47 PMI love all the people saying "It's supposed to be that way, it's for the best of the best!" LOL, being able to no-life PvE says nothing about your skill in PvP, it says nothing about how good you are as a player. If you have time to grind for all the powerful rewards for hours every week, you get cheats in Trials, it's that simple. And 90 % of PvE powerful rewards don't require any skill even for PvE standards, not even doing a normal Raid is that difficult. ...but hey, if you WANT no-lifers to basically get cheats over actually good people who can't play the game all day, then fine, knock yourself out. But please don't lie and pretend it's about skill, it isn't. People who get to play more, yes even with artifact turned off, get an advantage, it's not competitive. EDIT: I'm not trying to say PvE doesn't take any skill. There's really challenging stuff like flawless Raids or solo Dungeons that are absolutely difficult. But none of that is required to get power levels. My point is that you can grind monotonously and get an advantage, and that's BS imo. (not that anything in PvE should give a power advantage in PvP, but this is *especially* BS)

As a player that refuses to play D2 and add to the population I have a question out of curiosity. After you guys waited this long for trials what is actually Better ? I've read alot of what's Worse like loot etc . What exactly does bungie do to improve the game ? You clearly have a rehashed use of a old idea and you can't even be bothered to improve it ?

Hat ein neues Thema gestartet: Cannot play Trials(3 Antworten))

21 Antwortenin a game that is trying to be an mmo, it makes sense you play more you get an advantage if you dont play you are going to be at a disadvantage in destiny 1 no one complained about it so why complain now, is it because you had 3 days to farm 50 levels and now you are complaining because you didnt? light levels should be still be enabled because it gives people that play the game an advantage over the people that only play it for pvp

To be totally fair though it never should have launched with artifact power enabled. It ruined the launch weekend for players who don’t no life the game. Straight up.

9 AntwortenThen maybe play the game and level yourself up to be better than your opponents? You're literally blaming people for playing the game "waah he's 30 levels higher than me and he keeps beating me, change it" you people complain about anything lol

If you read one the earlier TWAB's from about 2 weeks ago, they specifically stated that they couldn't disable artifact bonus light for trials because of Caronavirus concerns. It was an in studio thing that needed to be turned off manually. They had to work at home to adjust this thing, but couldn't address this issue in time because of health concerns.
-
The cheater excuse is pathetic, ridiculous, and anyway false. Nothing can reduce the number of cheaters in a peer to peer game with hundreds of third party service providers offering professional cheating services for $20/weekend. The only thing Bungie does against cheaters is having tech employees watching all main streamers and acting live to boot/ban any such cheater. They’re only curing the image that can be reflected, not the game itself. It’s a typical Bungie-Smith approach to cutting costs. So Bungie is only trying to bait some nostalgic D1 vets who are millions to have never come back since D2Month2 a reason to pay. FAILED. Activision released a much better universally free content, that is exciting, delivers all the sensations we miss in D2: discovery, pace, skills, fun. Hilarious how a nobody kotaku online journalist thought he was going to be smarter and a better tech than the bests in the world. See that mountain over there Luke? Please be my guest.

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von Freak: 3/14/2020 3:52:23 PMIt’s for one weekend. The artifact won’t count next weekend. Run the Survival playlist where you can be rewarded both Valor and Glory Rank drops off you think LL is holding you back. As for base power it was needed so the playlist wouldn’t be overrun by cheaters. It makes them worry about getting banned and doesn’t allow them to just create another character and immediately re enter. It’s simple but effective. Is it fool proof? Nope. But it’s what they’ve implemented. The real problem with trials is the rewards. No Adept weapons, poor weapon choices, weekly Weapon and Armor drops. No variety whatsoever and Weekly Coin deletion. All bad ideas that lead to too much of a hassle. The coins could have easily been changed to you had to play so many games a week to use them instead of must spend them on the same crap you get during the games. Those are the Real issues. IMO
-
1 AntwortenIt doesn’t keep cheaters from cheating because other people will create accounts and scale to 1000 just to sell it to a cheater over and over

3 Antworten
5-0... then lose the next 3 games to 1010 guardians i can't 3 tap. You guys are so disconnected with reality it's unbelievable.
gitgud, seriously challenge yourself. What next you want the game to play itself for you?

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von IAGNRG: 3/14/2020 11:38:08 PMYou are absolutely clueless if you can’t raise your light enough to be competitive...in a pinnacle, endgame activity

While I can disagree with your comment respectfully since trials has ALWAYS been light based (except for trials of the nine) I get your frustration. I literally survived a shield throw from a Sentinel Titan because he was around 985 and I was 1010. Sounds ridiculous to me tbh that I can survive that. I will say however it really is not an “impossible” task to hit 1000 light when trials dropped. I only power leveled 2 characters and hit 1001 light (1010 with artifact) without even touching my 3rd character. You just needed to properly level and minmax the right way. Good luck in trials my friend.
-
21 AntwortenYea I got to 6 win flawless than a hunter squad all above 1000 just stoped us cuz of the light lvl even tho they ware worse than us. It makes it more forgiving especialy fast rpm weapons like pistols that they ware using. And my friend poped dawnblade the other guy used storm and my friend died only cuz the guy took 3 swords instead of 2.

Bearbeitet von Guardian1309: 3/14/2020 6:48:21 PMLight level enabled, artifact disabled - That's the basis of both Trials and IB. Take that away and now your just playing 3v3 Elimination. Seriously if you have skill light should not matter especially for the 98% chars in there who are Hunters!. Now saying that, match making should not be matching people that are say 20 light-levels apart! But even then I'm not convinced as Trials are designed to find the supreme players and sorry but that means if a player can get higher light then they are a higher level player end of discussion. NOTE that I do not condone people playing the game 24/7, getting paid for it and in less then a week are at higher levels then the most dedicated 'real' person (you know the kind, the ones keeping there sorry a$$es alive) can reach in a whole season. In my opinion banish them to a pocket server where they play each other only! But that's just my opinion and doubt I'll ever pop into Trials even though I played causally in D1 but it was to hang with some of my undergrad students and for us it was just play time not sweat time! Oh and to get some of those sweet weapons and ornaments we had!

LL has always been a thing in trials and it’s rewarding the people that played the game and went through the pain of grinding everything out Plus you’ll soon be the same level
-
13 AntwortenIt was always LL embalm rookie. Cry about it.
-
Trials has always been LL. It's meant to be endgame pvp. If you're going to -blam!- about anything, make it about the HardLight spam. It's no longer Trials Osiris it's trials of Hardlight
-
It was power enabled then, it should be now. It’s pinnacle crucible, if you don’t like it go back to the other 6 playlists.
-
1 AntwortenTrials was power level enabled in D1. I get it’s mostly due to the bonus you get from the artifact as to why people have a problem with it. But you really can’t expect to play a game like Destiny and ONLY do Crucible. At some point or another you gotta realize still being 750 power level in any kinda competitive PvP mode, you’re gonna have a disadvantage due to the fact you never play PvE.
