Everyone, including yourself if you want to admit it or not, has searched for a guide to obtain a special weapon, armor, etc etc. The point Im making is that with every other mission to the level/scope such as this puzzle (one doesnt exist, this one is the biggest so far) has lead to an arguably an equally matched reward. I actually feel sorry for all of those guy and gals that spent hours upon hours in hopes for a reward that was nevered delivered. For any of them to say they did it ONLY for the chase, the journey is not being honest. EVERYONE EXPECTED AN EPIC REWARD... what else would we expect with precedent from previous missions and completely a massive puzzle in a LOOTER game?? Unlike you, i appreciate and applaud the HUNDREDS of ppl that participated... your view is flawed. Im speaking up when they are not about the end results... the reward we all hoped for buy never got.

How you take that experience, and then come to the forums to complain about the puzzle and events leading up to you looking up that code, which you did not help in obtaining is beyond me.

I have no other expressed issues about the pizzle DUE to the fact that I didnt participate. (Im not the usual user around here) My primary objection is that the weapon itself being the reward to the puzzle does seem worthy of what it took to solve. Every secret mission has rewarded us with a special weapon. Some more game breaking than others. But all extremely special in their own way. Bastion is not one of those types of weapons. That is my point and one that can be made with or without any participation in the event itself.

You dont get to complain about the reward in comparison to what it took to solve the puzzle because you didnt help solve it is my point. In regards to the weapon itself and not being special, it's the only kinetic fusion rifle in the series, which makes it special.

I was thinking on another exotic reward, not one that we already knew it was coming, something more secret you know? who was expecting Mythoclast or Imago Loop by example, or even that sword on the grave?. And the new exotic just follows all the alignement of nerfs that we already know, why bungle couldn't deliver an exception to the rule of kinetic/energetic ammo on the primary slot giving back the Mythoclast that makes sense as a reward on the entire "timeless quest" and could add another turn into the tables for pve activities playing solo? Because bastion overall is just a gimmick gun that doesn't shine on any aspect in general and we already were expecting it for the 28.
