The Game Feels Like Curse of Osiris Times Again but in a Different Way

It feels like we are back around to Curse of Osiris again but from a different angle with a Mask ontop. Plenty of stuff is infinitely better (like the Weapon System and Random Rolls) but other stuff has either gotten worse, or was made better then made worse again. 1) The game feels hollow just like it did then. Then it was because their was no content. Now it is because old content isn't expanded upon in any meaningful way, left to rot and all new content only lasts 3 months. The game has gone tall, but risks collapse because they refuse to grow it wider. Whybak I being forced into things like Strikes, Crucible, and Gambit each season for hardly unique weapons and a Title if those modes are essentially the exact same as they were a year ago. Hardly any good improvements outside of Ordeals and Elimination. Where are the still missing Skirmish and (more importantly) Rift modes? Why have we gotten no new loot for these modes if they are supposedly ritual modes? Where are misding modifiers like Small Arms and Specialist? Why is Strike Scoring only based on time and not medals too like D1Y3 to encourage more types of play? Why have Factions been left to rot for more than a year when they were beloved in Destiny 1 the way they were? Why was Strike/Nightfall specific loot re-added then abandoned again? New content is great and should be a focus, the main one even, but is it really worth it to have something designed to be played for a few months then leave? Stuff being temporary is okay, but not when it's all of it. It feels like the game isn't going to evolve in any meaningful way, just be a list of chores. 2) the Story has improved tremendously but how will anyone who wasn't here this year appreciate it at all when the new content is no longer accessible? Is it really fixed if it leaves without a trace like the Vex Lore Book last Season? Why has the online pre season lore articles not become a thing in game set to the postmaster like the Aunor Book in Season 6? Why has the D1 lore not been added in some way to fill new players in? 3) Eververse is still bad but in different ways. During that time the Dawing was essentially only a silver store purchase event nothing more. Its expanded beyond that now, but only kind of. You can barely earn any bright dust without targeting it specifically on 3 characters as opposed to just playing. Their are a lot more new and unique items in it which are still not reflected upon in the base game actvities. Why do Raids still not get super unique cosmetics like other MMOs? Why did the Dungeon not only not get these but not even a set of Armor or Ornaments? For a little while during Warmind and Forsaken this felt like it wasn't the case but not anymore. 4) The bounty system is amazing, being able to always have unlimited objectives to progress, but it completely overshadows any form of meaningful progression from other activities. Why grind Strikes, Raids, or anything else when I can get levels SIGNIFICANTLY more efficiently through bounties. Why even actually bother with this when almost no activity actually needs you to be anywhere even remotely high in Power Level? 4) Crucible balance changes still take ages to come come and still over or under do things by miles. Maps still have terrible spawns. I'd personally rather see two new worthwhile pieces of content a year with updates to existing content during the other two seasons. Old content is so good, I just don't have a reason to play it, new loot, mechanics, and challenges would definitely spice these areas up. Stuff being temporary
