Should there be an option to transfer leadership if they become inactive causing the clan progression to be slow or little to none?

Find another clan or make your own buddy. That's your best bet. My clan has room and accepts anyone. We have been alive for over a year and are always almost full. Join up 👍

You might get more traction with this (and be seen by the right devs) by editing the tags in the post to #FeedbackD2 tag under the Destiny2 primary tag instead of #help. Help is more for tech issues.

Bungie does not want to get involved with clans at that level. I know I would be pretty upset if a clan I founded, with the name I reserved, was handed off to someone else for any reason. Life happens and sometimes that means a few months without playing the game.
