Hi Xadder, i saw here that if you run the game as admin this file steam appid will show up in the Destiny folder, I tried and deleted the file change back to do not run the game as admin, some ppl say after that the game works fine, but for me still having the same problem, i hope it fix for you because i know how frustrating can be.
