There's been a lot of situations where people fake videos and other "evidence" that completely destroy someone's online reputation. To prevent this Bungie has this policy in place. Each gaming company kind of does this differently and it works well in different ways. The main problem with Bungie's way is that although they stop name and shame it makes it very hard for anyone to see what they are doing. It makes perfect sense for them to say people are innocent until proven guilty; however, if someone is guilty, they should announce it. Lord knows that there are cheaters that have been around so long that they have built a reputation for themselves. A certain someone who likes to grasp pottery (if you get what I mean) has honestly become a meme. If someone is guilty, and it has been proven by Bungie that they are. They should be named, and they should be shamed. Cheating in an online game is just so scummy. You're ruining other people's night.
