If you thought Crown of Sorrows phase 2 boss fight mechanics were complicated, you must have never done Spire of Stars.
Congrats on the title though.

My team had SoS down to a science. Granted, it was one of the tougher Raid fights to master. I got my Acrius or Sleeper catalyst first time we did SoS on prestige, that was cool. (I have both catalysts, cant remember which one came from where, maybe acrius was Calus prestige)

Nah they are basically the same. Every ennemies are predictable from their actions/spawns. The mechanics are pretty basics, and they are easy to do since the only thing supposed to make them hard are the adds...and we are way too powerfull for them. The boss itself is a non moving giant critspot.

Was it i remember this raid as my playground. In d1 raids had simple strats like in d2. But the enemies and the boss were actual threats preventing you from doing the strat. As an examole with aksis : his swarms were powerfull, a single shank was avle to take you down if you didnt paid attention. Many gardians died against the capitain. In d2..lets say CoS : -ghalran : deals close to 0 dmg with slow projectiles that cant even reach you if you are under his hands. -only a few ennemies that spawns in front of you so they dont even have time to move or shoot. -except if you fail when you melee the kebab master or forget to switch you arent going to die in this raid. Ennemies are useless in d2

The Aksis challenge was super frustrating if you didn’t have a good team. Although I have to say that hard mode Calus is pretty frustrating as well.

How is calus prestige frustrating ? I cant even see the difference between normal and prestige now XD. Oh yes normal mode is even more borrrrrring.
-
The puncher hitting the symbol at the wrong time, causing people to get launched off the edge in shadow realm.
-
Not really lol. Never had this issue, i cant remember the least time we failed a calus prestige without trolling XD
-
hated SoS, thought this one was one the same level of chaos
-
The difference between Crown and SoS is how fast the encounter is. You could take down Galrhan before you could even get to damage phase in SoS.
-
agree, I like the quick raids, reminds me of Crota

If it was bad enough that it was like 6 different steps to get to damage phase, the encounter would sometimes be glitchy as well. And that was the most frustrating part. Do everything correct and the door doesn't open was total BS.
