Who got the Title MMXIX ....
..... hours before reset on the last day, this guy and six other faithful souls that just stayed with it. We had Sorrows second boss check point since Saturday, it's all we needed as a group. Wow what an overly complicated mechanic, lot to digest, but once you have the rhythm, all you need is that one good run. At 1 am this fine morning we checked that box completed! (didn't even care what I got at that point, just wanted it done).
Kudos to; Dragon, Oz, V, Andy, Devil and Monsta for the help (we ran it twice so everyone got the complete)

15 AntwortenI was 1 triumph away... the crucible pinnacle weapon. I was 1 win away from getting to 1980 where my weekly reset would have pushed me over... but then a string, and I mean string of losing sent me back down to 1,100 points. Some were fair game losses but a good majority were more than likely paid carry pros playing (it's pretty easy to tell when you are playing people on a completely other level). I tracked losses on a spreadsheet and was at a 70-75% loss... unbelievable. This game and the crucible shit show pretty much broke my gaming spirit. I'm actually thinking about tearing down my gaming room, selling my Destiny stuff and just being done. I just don't want to keep playing a game where they do NOTHING to prevent the shit that happens in crucible. Unfortunately I already bought shadowkeep so I guess I'll check it out... but I doubt I will continue playing this game with any regularity.

I got it Sunday night, I think. I was dragging my feet on getting Whisper and Outbreak Perfected, because I hate timed missions and obnoxious platforming, and those missions had both.

Destiny was good while it lasted. But this is where I get off of the Destiny Franchise due to their bad direction of Weaponized FOMO, Temporary Content, Free to Play MTX Model, Monetized Battle Passes etc. Destiny has become a Game that has to be played as a Career/Full Time Job or miss out. I hate Time Gated Content that I pay for getting removed.

5 AntwortenMy friend has been trying three times a week every single week to get the dreaming city ship and it ended up being the last thing he needed for the title.... last night he got it on his very last try. Still ridiculous to me that that type of rng is tied to a title.

5 AntwortenJust had the raids left, but I then thought back to how long it would take to beat raids with a group put together on an LFG site, not to mention the wait for people to respond, the replacing of people due to length of raid, rage, or other reasons, and then decided I didn't need the Seal. Not all LFG groups I've been in or put together were like this. And I haven't used LFG since D2 started. Used it a bit in D1 and there were times where I spent more time in the week trying to beat a raid than doing anything else in game. I just miss having a consistent group to raid with at this point.

Needed completions in raids (CoS and SotP) that I hadn't done at all. 2. I spent a majority of the Solistice event working, as it was the busy season for my employer. This didn't allow for much time (if any) to play. I know that MoT was extended a few more weeks. As for that refer to reasons #1 and #3. 3. To me the rewards given weren't worth it.
