The constant nerfing drives me crazy too. It's a good part of the reason why I haven't been as destiny driven as I used to be (i.e purchasing a 1X when the only game I played at the time was destiny 2, and I had no intention of playing anything else as I'm not much of a gamer). I understand that items have to be reworked sometimes, but isn't that only (or rather, largerly) because the testing before the item dropped was inadequate? Shards of galanor was awesome when it first came out, but I agree, it was way too powerful. I said to my team that it was going to get nerfed and not to get too excited about it, and of course it did. But what testing was done beforehand that indicated that such an exotic was a good idea? It just gets draining to grind for an item only to have it all but taken away. IMO the testing team needs to get nerfed back to their positions as Wal-Mart greeters, since it seems that is where their skill lies.

Yeah same. You can see someone talk about an exotic weapon or armor on youtube and think. "Hey that one looks good and its seems powerfull, I want that" Then you think again. Bungie is 100% going to nerf it so mutch it isnt even worth the grind. For your collection that you have it maybe but thats about it. Its useless ingame
