WOW! Just WOW! Why spend money and time on making cool exotic weapons and then nerf the s**t out of them?
You encourge players to challenge themselves and the game. How are we supposed to do that when you nerf everything to the bottom of the sea.
You might as well create and give us an exotic quest step for a cool looking Wood Stick.
Oh thats right. You already have and the Wood Sticks name is "WHISPER OF THE WOODS"
I agree that some Exotics,Guns, Armor etc needs nerfing in PVP but in PVE? Come on!
Im trying to challenge myself and see if i can Solo Argos and thats not an easy task itself even with the old Whisper but now with this cool looking Wood Stick its impossible.

I think people were just waiting and betting on when the weapon was going to receive the D1 nerf. Bungie wasn't thinking it through and brought back a weapon that would break their "Boss stands in one place to be DPS'd" encounters. The weapon needs some form of its original perk back or be removed from the heavy slot to the special slot. In the special slot, it will receive a damage nerf but ammo will be more abundant.

The gun gives you more precision damage, and even though precision damage is being nerfed for minors, whisper will still pack a little more punch. Whisper as you already know was already nerfed a while back. I cant imagine them nerfing it again, since its fine where its at.

Whisper is gonna be the meta for bosses again once Lunafactions and rally barricades get changed. I would hold on to it

You're two seasons too late

If it helps, i doubt they spent much money or time on it, they just brought it over from d1. They always nerf it sooner or later. Is why you need to enjoy it every time they re-introduce it before the inevitable nerf.

1 AntwortenThe constant nerfing drives me crazy too. It's a good part of the reason why I haven't been as destiny driven as I used to be (i.e purchasing a 1X when the only game I played at the time was destiny 2, and I had no intention of playing anything else as I'm not much of a gamer). I understand that items have to be reworked sometimes, but isn't that only (or rather, largerly) because the testing before the item dropped was inadequate? Shards of galanor was awesome when it first came out, but I agree, it was way too powerful. I said to my team that it was going to get nerfed and not to get too excited about it, and of course it did. But what testing was done beforehand that indicated that such an exotic was a good idea? It just gets draining to grind for an item only to have it all but taken away. IMO the testing team needs to get nerfed back to their positions as Wal-Mart greeters, since it seems that is where their skill lies.

8 AntwortenI find it ironic that you ask for challenge and claim we challenge ourselves when any warlock is required to run well of radiance with luna's to always 1 phase bosses, or the fact that 0.1% of the playerbase knows how to do riven legit because everyone just cheeses it. Infinite Heavy Ammo is broken.
